More Annoying Post Format...

I can kind of understand texting. I mean there's a difference between using a number pad and a keyboard. But I suppose that most phones nowadays have keyboards on them. I'll abbreviate long words if they are common and understandable, and occasionally I'll shorten words like you to "u" and leave out words if the message is running on the long side.
Same with unnecessary acronyms. LOL, WTF, and OMG have become pop culture expressions and are used more for that purpose than actual abbreviation. I even sometimes use them in speech. But trying to turn everything in to one of those is lame and should be avoided. STFU.
The lack of paragraphs is the thing that bugs me the most because It could have otherwise been a very well written and readable post ruined simply by being awkward to follow. As opposed to something that is just unintelligible jibberish.

I'm kind of a grammar/spelling/word use ****, so there are just too many things to go into, but I voted for all caps.
there is something very annoying about someone who types sentences that have no end or beginning and their is no way they could loose there way in the middle of a thought if only they would just stop and put a damn period in for gods sake or use a capital letter every so often or something like that
I also get annoyed easy when I've been ********, and folks decide that in order to sound cool (on the internet, no less) they have to get very "G-thug" with their typing.

What's amazing, too, is that as you're typing, misspelled words get underlined in red. Then, all you have to do is right click in that word, and it will suggest words, with the first suggestion often being the correct spelling of the word you were looking for.
It's really not that difficult in the computer age to appear to have correct spelling skills.

And while I'm posting, people who "could care less"... that drives me batty. The correct use of that is "I couldn't care less". Why? Because if you *could* care less, then obviously, you still care a little.
If you, on the other hand, could NOT care less, then you have used up all your caring, and you're ready to not give a **** about whatever it is you couldn't care less about.

This one :thefinger in particular.
People don't seem to get the fact that it's 'the Finger', not 'two thumbs up'.
So :nannerf1: to those who don't use it properly and :bigear: to those who use inappropriate smileys.
