Watching Cubs v. Mets. Falling asleep...

Wake up, dammit! We just tied it up. I'm listening to it on MLB Audio. I refuse to watch Cubs games that aren't broadcast on either WGN or CSN Chicago. ESPN's baseball coverage is deplorable. Give me Len and Bob over any ESPN analyst any day.

Wow, we've fucking derailed. Absolutely no relief pitching. What's the point of getting a quality start every night out when your bullpen tanks in the last couple innings? This is going to be another frustrating season if we can't shore this up pretty soon.

If not, there's always next year...

I could fax this to Yawkey Way. The Sawx are finished. Tampa just clowned our asses with ease. Boston and Baldymore battling it our for last place in the AL East this year? :dunno:

What the hell was Theo Epstein thinking when he put the lineup together this offseason:rolleyes::mad::mad:

This is basically a .500 club, at best...:weeping:

WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!

We're barely 2 weeks into the season, relax, they'll be better.

Im not panicking but after seeing the Giants lose after giving up one hit. Im just really aggravated ya know, like Ive seen this shit before man. I think the last 3 years Ive been witnessing the inability to get a runner in from third with no outs. 3 years of losing one run games. Im being forced offensive ineptitude again. Giants slogan for this year is "It's Magic Inside!" Unfortunately its the dark evil black magic of Rasputin and Saruman.

well yaheem the Giants players are partly at fault but so is management for not playing some players, john bowker, while others, andres torres, slump badly. the day the promote Buster Posey is the day you will see a good young hitter. stop worrying about his catching skills so much the kid hits a ton and the Giants pitchers want his bat even if they can't publicly say so.

woohoo, the 'stros gutted them blue fishes, heres to winning the series :glugglug:

They might as well break out the champagne whenever they win a series since it ain't likely to happen very often this year.

The DisAstros are abysmal.

Maybe I will be able to hold my head up this season when the M's play after all. Cliff Lee will be coming back soon, so things should only get better.

Red Sox down by three in the second, this trend is really getting old. I know its early, but it will still be hard to dig themselves out of this hole they're digging.

Back in the 80s and 90s when I used to live in LA I did the same thing with The Dodgers. If they were telecast on Fox, ESPN or the Big Three I'd listen to the game on radio instead, because even without pictures Vin Scully towered over all other broadcasters.

To be honest, the Giants struggles, (they're going to struggle offensively all season long, and for that reason will probably be near the bottom of the division) are about 100% management's fault. You can't really fault Edgar Renteria for being the terrible player he is at this point, he's still trying. I have no idea what the Giants are doing with Posey anymore, it just gets more and more ridiculous everyday.

Tampa is frightening. They are young, talented and now experienced. They fear nobody.

Atlanta v Tampa in the World Series? :dunno:

Well the Cubs are panicing they are moving Carlos Zambrono to the bullpen as a set up man in front of Marmol.

They aren't panicking. Right now he's the sixth best starter. Dempster, Lily, Wells, Silva, and Gorzelanny are going to be in the rotation. Big Z hasn't performed well all season. Also, the bullpen is 1-6 this year with and ERA over 8. Hopefully, Z can get it turned it around and be the set-up man for Marmol. Right now, we're losing games in the later innings after the starters are pulled. Ideally, he can help alleviate some of that by throwing well in the 7th and 8th innings. Nobody said it's going to be permanent, but Carlos has to get back to old form again before returning to the rotation. Besides, any Cub fan or analyst would tell you that Z isn't an ace anyway. He's still one my favorite Cubbies, he just needs to get his mojo back.
