Angels in 5 (Red Sox catchers have 'no arm' and the Angels will run on them all day long)

First of all, there won't be all too many baserunners because the Red Sox's pitchers have enough arm, and some Angels small ball won't win any games against the Red Sox.

Come on Red Sox, bury those pitiful Angels once and for all!

The Sox have good pitchers but small ball won't win any games against them? A walk, runner steals 2nd, gets bunted to 3rd, SAC fly. Rinse and repeat. That would beat anyone with weak catchers.

The Angels are offensively sound as well with most batters hitting either over or just under .300 I'm a Yankees fan but I would much rather see the Yanks face the Sox instead of the Angels in the ALCS; The Angels have speed, hit for power and average...They are downright scary.

What happened in the past won't dictate what happens in the future. This is a different Angels squad and Abreu is a beast (both figuratively and literally)

I am rooting for a LAD vs NYY World Series (even though I think the Phillies will make it to the World Series instead) but that LAD/STL game was a shame, I feel bad for Holliday.

The Yanks do the "pie in the face" thing ONLY on walk-off wins (of which they had 15 this year so they only did it 15 times before last night's game). The guy that started it, and still does it, is A.J. Burnett and he has never been there before.

Can the umpiring in the playoffs get any worse? Mauer's hit was so fair it was ridiculous. sure he got a single a couple pitches later, but he would have had a double. Would it have changed the outcome? Who knows, but the umpiring needs to get better.

The umps did blow the call but if Mauer was on 2nd base it would have changed the entire flow of the game. Kubel probably would have been walked to set up the double play for Cuddyer. So, who knows? Its purely speculative. It was disgusting though, that LF umpire only had ONE job to do and he blew it and the homeplate Ump was the worst throughout the entire game. On a side note, I am VERY impressed by the Angels but am still rooting against them because I'd much rather the Yanks face Boston in the ALCS.

i love how almost everyone is hating on my World Champion Phillies yes the Rockies are a good team (who I would root for if the Phils werent in it) but lets not forget the Phils can out slug ANY team and yea i know about the bullpen and blah blah blah but Madson looked fantastic and 4 out of our 5 starters can go the distance almost everytime they pitch (Pedro being the only exception) .... and whats with the hating on the Angels who I knew would beat the Bum Sox asses Cards losing first 2 games a surprise but they dont give their pitching much run support wish they'd beat the Dodgers cuz i hate Manny who cant do shit without steroids........but it looks like Phils will have to beat them for the second yr in a row........Bring on the Yanks (bitches) IF they make it past the Angels

I really have no idea how the ump blew this call.

I think my Sawx are finished. I don't see a resurrection happening in Beantown this time. The Sawx haven't hit worth shit all year. The pitching is burned up...we need to overhaul the entire offense once the Angels put the fork in us. I am ready to say :wave2: to Papi. Nothing lasts forever. Same with Tek and JD Drew....

Yeah that was awful call,but really it had little effect on the game.Twins still had bases loaded no outs after that and got nothing.Looks like the yanks are going to roll over them.

I watch the Red Sox and wonder just how did they get in the playoffs? They need a lot of new talent as you say.But I can't say much as my team the Mets had a dismal year.:o

I'm all about the Angels! Don't tell me they suck, I just like them good or bad. Matter of fact, I don't really have a good reason for liking them at all other than I used to live in LA. But then you'd think I'd like the Dodgers, but I don't. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....................:dunno:
