i think he was out, but i think they stop some fights way too quick.
this could have gone on a little more i think. McCarthy would have stopped it after 2 or 3 more punches.

Yeah, he posted some pictures of his hand and X-Rays of his hand on his website. Wow, that was a gnarly injury.
I think that Brown needs to develop a better ground game.He kept trying the same Guillotine and Faber kept getting out of it.He needs a Kimora or something else.Faber couldn't prevent Brown from taking him down pretty much at will,but his ground defense was good enough to not tap out.If Brown's ground game wasn't so one dimensional,Faber would've tapped no later than the 3rd.
Also,was it me or did Brown look slower than he did in the first fight?I know he's not the fastest guy,but his punches looked so slow.
Yeah, Brown does actually need a better ground game, although to be honest I think part of it was because Brown thought Faber was okie-doking him. Faber was taken down an awful lot, but I really think at least part of that was him being injured. And I agree with you also that Brown looked slower, I saw one of his posse being interviewed after the fight saying they worked really hard on getting him to focus more on slow and steady punches, because they were concerned that Faber was going to be fighting defensively.
Dana White was on Opie & Anthony (XM202) yesterday and he said that steve mazagatti who refed the 1st LEsnar-Mir fight should not be ref'ng ANY MMA fights, he is the worst Ref ever and he is only doing the UFC stuff Because Vegas athletic commision appoints the refs.

OMG.. i was buying the hype of this Carano v. Cyborg fight i wanted carano to pummel this chick.
when i got home from a friends bbq the fight just started. so i sat and watched.
GOOD GOD remind me never to watch womens mma fights anymore. i saw better chick fights in high school than these 2. i think any female mma fights just have to be terrible and i only have seen this single one. it was all over the place and there was no real technique to either of them.
