It was my understanding that it ended at 12 midnight PST on the 2nd.....which would mean that it was when the clock struck 12 midnight PST & the calendar turned to Janurary 2, 2011. Thus, it is past that time :2 cents:

Midnight is so misleading. Which date counts? When specifying midnight, it would probably be better to say something like Midnight 1st/2nd January to be clearer. However, too late to bitch about it now.

I wonder if the programmers forgot to extend the voting for one more day. Maybe for next year "12:01 AM PST on the 1st" would work better. :dunno:

Just as I was about to send it.........silence and all the power went off and I lost my message.

It appears my in coming fuse has overheated/ burnt out and I am waiting for an electrician to fix it.

When power is restored I will put a proper message up. I need to keep this short with only minutes of laptop battery left.

I just figured (logically, so it should appear) that they meant when the date switched to the 2nd. It would have worked better if they would have originally had it run through 11:59:59 PM PST on 12/31 (making it the same time on 1/1, with the extra day).
