That's not a bad idea...but I looked at the "OCSM of the Year" category as fitting that mold already......or at least it should be viewed as such. Ha ha ha!
On a related note, remember, the VAST majority (I'd say 90%+...but that's just a guess) of those who actually vote in the contest, are not actually active at all here on the board. It might actually be an idea to consider having a requirement to be eligible to actually vote in the category also. I mean, it's not exactly a valid statement if OCSM of the Year is being decided heavily by those who really don't have a clue...because they don't actually engage on here in the 1st place. :2 cents: I'm sure weighting the votes in a specific category based upon the how active the voter actually is on here is likely really difficult to pull off....but it would be a good idea. I mean, does the fact that you REALLY like watching someone fuck on screen....and know little more than that about them REALLY make them OCSM of the Year material? If you (the voter) isn't active on here at all....what more do you have to judge them by? :dunno: And yet, those who can't even begin to make a judgement on something that, unless I am misunderstanding the purpose of OCSM of the Year, are being given basically equal weight (I mean, years you have been a member doesn't equate to actually being an active member obviously....I've seen some who have been members for years, and yet they barely have 10-20 posts) in their votes as those who are better equipped to make the call through their own participation on here. Like I said, the logistics would be a nightmare....BUT, it's an idea/thought just the same. :2 cents:

That's not a bad idea either.....could call it the "Lifetime Achievement", "Veteran of the Year," or even "FreeOnes Hall of Fame" category.....and have it open only to those who are STILL active, AND, like Ashleigh suggested....only open to those who have a minimum of 5-10 years in the business.
I think making it 3 rounds in a month is a great idea. As far as the categories and such, I think last year's format worked quite well, though Spexy makes a good point in the above post (best veteran category).
Overall, I think everyone needs to just STFU and go with whatever the FO team decides, as they are the ones who have to deal with the whole business.
My last point, and it has been made in this thread already, and I have said it before but while I know that the forum is by no means the only part of FreeOnes, the vast majority of people who vote in this contest come from the forum. I think it should be explicitly stated in the terms of winning that Miss FreeOnes is expected to spend some time interacting with members of the forum. And not only in their own threads. I don't think it is an unreasonable expectation to spend, say, 3 hours a month minimum on the forum is you win 10K$.
What is reprehensible is getting on the forum like crazy for the duration of the contest, taking the money, and then splitting. Miss FreeOnes should participate fully in FreeOnes, and the forum is a part of that.
Edit: perhaps we should have a "most involved in the forum" category. In reality, you should have a "who is willing to cuddle with Dirk" category. Throw me a bone. :lurk:

1.) In 2010 the contest was 3 months long, 2011 it was a month and a half. How do you feel about 3 rounds in 1 month?
I'd like to keep it at about a month and a half.

Must have met minimum before the start of the contest.
Minimum standards roll over annually (if you have 200 in 2011, contestant must have at least 400 by 2012's contest start.)
And of course, and constructive criticism is welcome. Please keep in mind we're not changing the entire structure of the contest. It will still be Miss FreeOnes + 6 categories in 3 rounds.
I think the same standards I set for Best OSCM should also apply to Miss FreeOnes as well. Miss FreeOnes should at least be someone who is here often. After all, the crown is for the woman who best represents this site and it's loyalists.

1. I voted 2 years ago but not as a signed in member and that contest was too long. If the contest was only a month long that would be great but would not complain if if was 1 1/2 months long like this past year.

I tend to agree with having some sort of requirement for winners, or entrants to at least be somewhat involved on FO. It seems the last two years, after the prizes have been sent out, the guys tend to feel a bit used and irritated that FO goes back to being a huge sausagefest. To be considered for Best OCSM, I really think that only the best OCSM's should even be entered for it to be fair. Signing up for OCSM status, and only posting once every few months to promote your site doesn't really warrant consideration into a category that is supposed to celebrate the women who not only interact on FO forums, but also enjoy it. And same goes for the Miss Freeones...if the model chosen to win is going to be the face of FO for the next year, she should at least be seen at FO every once in awhile and not just show up when there's money involved. I feel bad for the guys who love having all the girls around while the contest is going on, but are left scratching their heads wondering where the pussy went once its all said and done lol
yeah, Sophie Dee won the 2011 mrs freeones and i dont think i have ever seen her make a post or yet alone be online
