I am confident after speaking with a friend of mine this afternoon that is an attorney in Minnesota and was a Minnesota delegate that nothing will come of this as far as Bachmann is concerned. There may be something involving a campaign manager but even that looks weak.

I know you fuckers would love to see something happen to her but I am willing to wager she did nothing wrong.

Now for all of you that hate her and want to see her gone forever

A few questions..

Did she start her political career in the living room of a terrorist?

Did her pastor at her church make constant remarks against Jews and anti-American sentiments?

Should we bring up everything stupid that Nancy Pelosi has ever said? Because I am quite certain that we can match incident for incident a Pelosi/Bachmann gaffe off.

Quite frankly Bachmann does not have the support of the establishment repubs like Cantor and Boehner and they refused to to funnel money to her for her congressional campaign. So from what I have learned today she decided to give up her seat because she knew the RNC was gonna bail on her and she would at least like to see the seat remain in republican hands instead of losing her seat to a left winger because the RNC won't support her. I like Bachmann because if the left attack her like is happening here she is doing something right as a conservative. I am sure she wishes she could take some comments back like all politicians but she has only been in the political arena for about 8 years and has made more waves against the republican establishment than anyone I have seen lately. She should wear the hatred by liberals and the disdain by fellow republicans as a badge of fucking honor.

Oh and Rey... FDR was a a socialist

I'll tell you what Blue, I'll take you up on that. How about you come up with the top ten stupid comments/gaffes of Nancy Pelosi and I'll come up with the top ten for Bachmann and we'll compare and contrast? Deal?

Sure I'll start...

""If you want to create jobs, the quickest way to do it is to provide more funding for food stamps and have unemployment insurance for people who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own...It is the biggest bang for the buck when you do food stamps and unemployment insurance."

We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it away from the fog of the controversy.

"We have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as "Americans."" (illegals are NOT Americans)

"I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels, natural gas "is cheap, abundant and clean compared to fossil fuels," (natural gas IS a fossil fuel)

You go through the gate. If the gate’s closed, you go over the fence. If the fence is too high, we’ll pole-vault in. If that doesn’t work, we’ll parachute in. But we’re going to get health care reform passed for the American people.

“Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program”

This budget says no more debt. We’re going in the opposite direction".-Nancy Pelosi

Then she says this...

"every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs."

But that wasn't good enough for her.. she didn't see her fuck up and correct it...

She basically says it AGAIN!

In a Jan. 18 interview on "Fox News Sunday," Pelosi repeated that 500 million jobs would be lost unless Obama's stimulus package was passed by Congress.

When host Chris Wallace corrected her and asked if she meant 500,000 jobs.

"What did I say, million?" asked Pelosi, adding that it "feels like 500 million."

"Some 500,000 Americans will lose their jobs each month until we have a recovery package," she said.

"Yes, Madam Speaker, it feels like almost twice the entire population are losing their jobs each month," retorted Wallace.

I will put it to you this way ..if I have to ride in a car with one of the 2 I am gonna choose Bachmann. Pelosi is a fucking dingbat of the highest order.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on Thursday that she would like to see a balanced budget, "in a number of decades." During her weekly press conference on Capitol Hill, the press asked Pelosi if she agreed with President Barack Obama's recent remarks that America does not have an "immediate" debt crisis. The U.S. debt as of Wednesday stands at $16.7 trillion.

So, she suggests, why not raise the current minimum wage from $7.25 per hour to $10.10 per hour — even more than the $9 per hour proposed by the president?

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said the White House doesn't necessarily have to confess to killing American citizens by unarmed drones. It all depends on the situation, she said in reply to a Huffington Post reporter who asked if President Obama's administration should acknowledge when it targets a U.S. citizen in a drone strike, the Washington Examiner reported. "Maybe, it just depends," she reportedly said. "People just want to be protected." She also said that such disclosure "depends on the timing, because that's right — it's all about the timing."

She said that it is "almost a false argument" to say that Washington has a "spending problem." Pelosi noted that there have been "plenty of spending cuts," and budgetary priorities like education and food safety must be protected.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on "Fox News Sunday" was confused, claiming it's the first, not second amendment that protects Americans' right to bear arms.

more to come

"“There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into: How is this opposition to the Mosque thing funded? How is this being ginned up? Here we are talking about Treasure Island. Something we have been working on for decades. Something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country. And two of the first three questions we get are about a zoning issue in New York City.” – Aug 17, 2010, interview on local San Francisco radio."

"“I decided what it was about them is this, this is my theory. What more do they want? They have a number of homes, the bigger the yacht, da da da da da, the taller the mast, the whole thing. They have museum quality art. They want immortality. They want so much money that their names are all, for prestige they could never get any other way, they could buy with endless money. Because what else could you possibly want?” – Aug 21, 2011, remarks at a Democratic fundraiser."

"“It was the first time the minimum wage was raised in eleven years. I bring that up for this reason, it wasn’t kept down because people just, you know, small businesses said ‘I can’t afford’, it was kept down for a purpose, it was kept down for the purpose that people would not be able to live on that, they’d have to borrow, against home equity loans, against their mortgages, there this and that, they’d have to live on credit cards, and what are they doing when they do that, they’re paying fees to the banks, they’re paying fees to them, so it’s a contrived dependence on private credit for millions, tens of millions of working people in our country.” – Aug 21, 2011, remarks at same Democratic fundraiser.

On Attorney General Eric Holder’s Contempt of Congress vote:

“It’s really important to note how this is connected with some of their other decisions. It is no accident. It is no coincidence that the Attorney General of the United States, the person responsible for making sure that voter suppression does not happen in our country, that issues that relate to the civil liberties of the American people are upheld. These very same people who are holding him in contempt are part of a nationwide scheme to suppress the vote. They are closely allied with those who are suffocating the system, unlimited special interest secret money, and they are poisoning the debate. They are poisoning the debate with that money.” – June 21, 2012, weekly press briefing.

“They’re going after Eric Holder because he is supporting measures to overturn these voter suppression initiatives in the states. This is no accident. It is no coincidence. It is a plan on the part of the Republicans.” – June 21, 2012, same weekly press briefing.

“It may just be a coincidence–I don’t know–that the Attorney General of the United States, the chief legal officer of our country, has a responsibility to fight voter suppression, which is going on in our country; has refused to defend the constitutionality of DOMA because he doesn’t believe it’s constitutional; or has some major disagreements on immigration, which fall under the enforcement of immigration law.” – June 28, 2012, remarks on House floor.

This bitch is like the fucking Energizer Bunny of stupid...

On Romney’s NAACP Speech:

“I think it was a calculated move on his part to get booed at the NAACP convention.” – July 11, 2012, interview on Bloomberg TV.

LOL

Iceman seems to think that Pelosi hasn't said anything stupid or at least as stupid as Bachmann.

And she was the damn Speaker of the House! That is my point.

So that's what this is? Tag you're it? It's OK to be an insipidly stupid, hysteria invoking liar if the other side might have one too? Is this how you like your politics?

You say that this is your point. You are not doing a very good job making it. A light perusal of what you've posted so far doesn't even come close to the tonnage of raw sewage that Bachmann has spewed. Huma Abedin, the President's 200 million dollar a day trip to India, 5 chefs on AF1, a paid Presidential dog walker, HPV vaccine causing retardation, food stamps, oil drilling, Alzheimers research, Muslim Brotherhood. I see no response that you have posted thus far that comes close.

I don't understand why you insist on defending this dolt. But it doesn't matter. She's out after the next election. One could hope that she does a Sarah Palin, and I hope so.

You see what you want to see. So you are defending Pelosi? Awesome.

So I guess You Missed the part about the 1st amendment and the right to bear arms. Or 500,000,000 a month losing their jobs. or it feels like 500 million when she is asked to retract it.

or we have to pass the bill to know what is in it. or We have no spending problem... fossil fuels this woman was third in line to the presidency.

And Bachmann was a tax attorney. I wouldn't trust Pelosi to correctly fill out a 1040EZ

I'm not defending Pelosi. And I wouldn't be indicting Bachmann for minor gaffes like the ones you cite. Everyone makes gaffes and I don't immediately go crazy when someone I don't like makes one. Mixing up terminology happens and getting numbers wrong occasionally is inevitable. The Right-wing is the Bible/America=Christian Party. What's the line about casting the first stone?

If you have a problem with Pelosi, feel free to continue having one. But again I say that a large percentage of your quotes above have more to do with positions you disagee with rather than the blatant stupidity that Bachmann has become famous for. You are, by definition, making a big deal above that Pelosi wants the minimum wage raised a dollar more than the President. You're holding it against her that she has her own opinions? You're saying that the Speaker has to be a mouthpiece/shill for the President? And even if you feel you have a valid answer, you're still not addressing the fact that Bachmann continuously spews crap that even her own Party calls her out on.

AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS STATEMENT ON HPV VACCINE
By: O Marion Burton, MD, FAAP, president, American Academy of Pediatrics

“The American Academy of Pediatrics would like to correct false statements made in the Republican
presidential campaign that HPV vaccine is dangerous and can cause mental retardation. There is absolutely no
scientific validity to this statement.
Since the vaccine has been introduced, more than 35 million doses have
been administered, and it has an excellent safety record.

“The American Academy of Pediatrics, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American
Academy of Family Physicians
all recommend that girls receive HPV vaccine around age 11 or 12. That’s
because this is the age at which the vaccine produces the best immune response in the body, and because it’s
important to protect girls well before the onset of sexual activity. In the U.S., about 6 million people, including
teens, become infected with HPV each year, and 4,000 women die from cervical cancer. This is a life-saving
vaccine that can protect girls from cervical cancer.”

When Michele Bachmann rises to the position of Speaker you can worry. her own party calling her out includes McLame,Linsey Grahamnesty Eric Cantor and other establishment republicans. The very ones that will never have a snowball's chance in hell of every winning the presidency or the confidence of Reagan conservatives such as myself.

Yes, Bachmann is controversial and a firebrand and the more the left comes down on her the more I like her for having the guts for speaking her mind.

I will put her intellectual capacity up against the likes of Pelosi, Jackson Lee, Wasserman Schultz or Clinton any day of the week.

Michele Bachmann isn't going to become Speaker. I doubt she ever would have come close (no matter how much God tells her it's in the bag). But it's a moot point because she is quitting. And I still think she's quitting because of the ethics violations she is being investigated for.

And to be as clear as I can be, I don't give two shits about Pelosi either way. But Palin quit, Bachmann is quitting, Pelosi is still on the job.

And most people that hold the position of speaker step down or even retire after their party receives a trouncing like she did in 2010. But she and her colleagues decided that she just had to hold onto power.

I am going to say this and I am going to be about as clear as I can be. The radical approach is working for the left. I will support any radical on the right because weak establishment moderates aren't cutting it. If I am gonna lose an election I want it to be with a real conservative that may hold controversial views but has some fucking back bone. There is no dealing with liberals no middle road and no compromise. You must be defeated and I will align myself with every radical right wing politician there is until a battle royale ensues. Let the best team win but I want my team represented with fighters not mealy mouthed moderate republicans who couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag.
