Thanks for being the only musician I liked as a child :hatsoff:
You will be missed.

The Best Entertainer of our times... He will be missed by millions, but His Legacy will inspire future generations of performers
Eh?!? Madonna, Prince. Just two examples, both contemporaries of Jacko, both continually recording & touring. Not sitting on their arses for 2 decades doing next to nothing!!^
But nobody out today will even be remembered in 5 years. The American Pop music *scene* is nothing but churn and burn. It's also unlikely that anyone will have a long enough career to put out quality albums once they hit 30s. The U.S. companies force an EXTREME YOUTH FETISH obsession on the masses....
Michael Jackson was the last great American music GLOBAL superstar.
I have to disagree there, Prince is a musical genius, on a par with Stevie Wonder. & can still do a good live show at 50!!Prince is/was/has never been on MJ's level. Madonna had MJ's talent for glamming up for the paparazzi, but never had his musical or dance ability.
MJ let his "messianic christ quest" be his own downfall, I have to say. He certainly was not putting out quality music since...maybe 1991?
Maybe he could have turned it around with his 02 shows, we'll never know now.Body dies but spirit lives. Rest in peace, man.
I do agree with Mrtrebus. He wasted some of 1990s and entire 2000s till now. He could be more productive. But whether he tried hard or not, it might be hard to get the success after the molesting scandal.
Now, he's singing with Elvis. Kings rock the heaven.

Put your finger on any of today's popular R&B singers and you'll find him literally copying Michael Jackson's musical and vocal techniques.
