Maybe its just me but id much rather watch cutscenes from a game like Vice City or San Andreas than for example GTA4, LA Noire.
Graphics mean shit to me. Are these animations really needed? If anything the developer has to spend more time on creating the facial animations than on important things like the gameplay.

It's all about immersion. Personally, having the animations look the way they have so far makes the game so much easier to get into.
CANNOT WAIT!! hopefully it's gonna have plenty of roam ability like all of rockstar's games. top 5 games of 2011, guaranteed!!
Actually, in this case, the animations are extremely important as they are a part of the gameplay. You're playing a detective and you have to be able to tell if a witness might be lying and stuff.

how are you finished already? you must be like my friend used to be,he would get a new game (ex is when resident evil 2&3 both came out) he would buy the hint book and as soon as he got stuck he would go to the book to figure out what to do and finish the game is like 2 days ....if it even took him THAT long!
dont you like to experience the game? not just speed through it lightening fast! :dunno:

Eh?!? I haven't finished it, just commenting on my experience of the game so far. But I agree I do like to experience a game, & not speed through. They tried to sell me a hint book when I bought it, what's the point of that?!? :dunno:
whewww! the way your post was just "really disappointed with LA noire" and not much more had me jump to thinking you finished it.
i understand the gaming store's job to make money by selling items but if these guys (and the store i go to the guys really talk games with you,but not like a maniacal gamer nerd,i've had my fair share of those creeps) were really into the games and game experience they shouldnt try to push a hint book on you when you buy the game. if i need to get to the ending wouldn't i just spend the $12-$15 on the hint book look at the ending and save the $50-$60 spent on the game?
i can and will NEVER understand my friend buying the game and the book and finished the game within a few days ..... then having nothing to play and asking to borrow a game that i have not finished yet because he needs something else to play :fight:
he did that to me once or twice i wish i could remember the games.
