L.A. Noire

An upcoming game from Rockstar (which is usually a good thing) that looks pretty interesting. You play a detective in 1950s Los Angeles and you have to solve a series of crimes but, from what I understand, there is a main serial killer or something you're tryiing to track down

1950's? I read that it was 1947, according to LEVEL, Sweden's best gaming magazine.

I don't know much about this game, but I'm definitely going to check it out.

Can you beat up hookers?

There has never been a game that allowed such a despicable act! I can't see them starting now.

Shame on you even mentioning such a crude and cruel act!!!

Now I am going to go play some Grand Theft Auto. The video game for people trying to adjust life after prison. It is highly educational and entertaining! I accidentally hit into a police car and they arrest me. Just as it should be.

I've got a buddy on the dev team, I've been pumped for this for quite a while. If only people knew the work that went into the engine.

Well, it must be a lot, considering this game has been in the making for seven years.

My buddy said just by himself, he worked for about 9 months straight at about 11 hours a day, just to get the details of facial animation in the eye region down. Crazy.

I read somewhere that the release date is 5/20 or something

what the fuck you lookin at?
Looks better and better each time a new trailer comes out!

I'm so excited for this game. I love the technology behind the facial expressions and how you have to read people's faces to tell if they're lying or uncomfortable or being truthful. This and Mass Effect 3 are probably going to be the the only games I buy the day they come out this year.
