Koalas 'could face extinction'

i will swim to Australia, and save every single one of those cuddly little bastards with my own bare hands if i have to

If there was ever the case for of an animal being selected out it would be the Koala.

It's mating and eating needs and habits make it virtually impossible for them to continue to survive without intervention.

^^that may be but they're some of the cutest little things on this earth

even if the population is saved though a Tasmanian Devil Situation may arise where the genes become so similar due to having to inbreed in order to save the population, that forms of transmissible cancer develop

I think if we have the means to responsibly preserve threatened species we should by all means.

In a metaphysical sense though we may theoretically need to understand the relationship as to why they're are being selected for extinction as actions have reactions.

oh absolutely that's why i said i'd fucking swim to australia, i'd breed them in my house if that's what i had to do to save them

but natural selection came around produced us, we fuck up the world, sped up nat. selection and here we are

Damn it... It's all those kangaroos that cause this... They steal peoples televisions, internet, and even have fun damaging peoples cars to raise car insurance.

Save the KOALAS!!!

Our existence has nothing to do with what's causing the Kaola's extinction. Their diets are very restrictive (live on certain types of bamboo that grows only in certain places and not in high enough quantities) and their mating habits and cycles are incredibly arduous to say the least.

But for humans they may not have survived this long.

Well, as a Koala bear fur salesman I am quite depressed.

As someone who keeps his lumps of rhino horn (for later crushing) in Koala Bear pouches, I find this doubly depressing. The kind of depressing that a tiger penis powder in vodka won't cure.

At least 2 out the 3 sited causes are directly manmade.

"They say development, climate change and bushfires have all combined to send the numbers of wild koalas plummeting."

We are eating away at the natural enviorment. At some point we(humans) will pay a very high price ourselves I would bet.

If they say so. I just know in the perfect scenario these animals have trouble surviving.:2 cents:
