Just tried the KFC Grilled Chicken...

Ordered a two piece, breast & wing, for lunch. It was okay. Had a different smell. Sort of smelled like a tuna melt, which was a little unappetizing for me.

Taste was a bit bland. I was a bit surprised because I expected they would really bombard the chicken with seasoning, especially salt, to make it more flavorful but I guess they were really trying to make a healthier product. I also wish they would crisp up the skin more.

Honestly it wasn't better than the grilled chickens I get at Latin joints, and it was about the same as chicken I prepare at home, and I'm not much of a cook. I don't see myself getting it again.

Do you think that your perception of what it was like was clouded by the fact that you're used to KFC tasting a certain way, but since this one was different, you couldn't relate it to what you were used to? I've been meaning to try it. I'm not exactly a fast food fanatic, so I keep forgetting to stop by KFC.

No I don't think so because I'm not a big fast food guy, and I'm definitely not a KFC fan. I have KFC about once or twice a year tops.

I tried it and while it wasn't as good as it looked on tv, I thought it was pretty good. But maybe I was just hungry:1orglaugh

Grilled chicken from a place that has "fried" for a middle name? Sounds like a terrific oxy-moron to me.

kfc really went down hill ever since they changed to the new recipe. last time i ate it i almost had an anal prolapse from shiting for 6 hours straight. the colonel must be spinning in his grave.

Alright.. two things..

First, how is KFC going to drop the whole fried McNasty image it has? It wont. Send it down to bankruptcy and spare us the details.

Secondly.. KFC doesnt have chicken? Well sheeit, that takes out the F and the C. Since I live in Indiana.. it doesnt even have the K. So what the fuck do I call that place? Indiana Healthy Meat Substitute? IHMS sounds like something you prefix a ship with.
"The IHMS Enterprise has reached the dock and is mooring, currently."
