that wasnt the problem

the problem is that just about everyone knows this guy is trollin

stirring the shit pot

or whatever metaphor you wanna use

everyone except you that is:facepalm:

maybe, probably even.
but then again what qualifies stirring the shit pot?
And if he just said just a lot of young girls with babies and not bi-racial babies would it really have made much difference?
if i posted that I've noticed a lot of russian people driving toyotas lately or canadians wearing football jerseys would that be stirring a shit pot?
but if he has been noticing a lot of what he said then why should that be considered offensive or trolling?

It was the bi-racial part that most people responded to negatively, focused on.
my original post didn't even address that, but just single motherhood 2011 style regardless of the race of the baby or parents.
its strange to me how people respond to words these days like they've been trained to or something.

nice post whimsy, I am proud of Obama for addressing that. funny though if george bush or someone similar spoke the same exact words he would instantly be called a racist by most americans.
silly human race, well, silly country is better said.

"maybe, probably even". But in my view either statement is just as narrow minded and presumptuous as the other statement. The author of the thread presumes to imply something apparently not knowable from the average, mere observation. That's what belies the intent of the statement.

It's not really relevant to me how he describes the babies taking the statement in a vacuum. But it's most obvious to many here where this particular poster is coming from because of his past sentiments re race.

In your piety that's the part which seems over your head.:2 cents:

Perfekt :hatsoff:

This is not a race issue. This is a people issue. This thread was created to stir the 'race pot' and the same posters are here again to post the same tired old BS.

i haven't been keeping track of where he's from, what color he is (that seems to be the important thing to most) or what he's posted before.
And i don't even care what his intentions were.

It just cracks me up how people respond to certain things.
ooooooh don't say that.

to me those are the people with race issues.

Since you don't....wouldn't you at least think it relevant who does/has before you characterize their responses to the guy? You know, in order to know where they're coming from??

What if they were lesbians who adopted??? Hmm.............

they come to our country, take our women, claim our welfare, rob our houses, ruin our neighborhoods, play their music too loudly ......blah blah blah blah

TOC, you writing country music now? ;)

:sing:She's actin' single while I'm drinkin' doubles...:sing:

I can't possibly be the only person that's ever seen this demotivator before. I might spend too much time at 4chan...

EDIT: Mid-thread image. To my opinion it had a little racial tinge too.

How are they not taking full responsibility for themselves just because they are single mothers?!? It could be that they were in an abusive relationship &, rather than remain in it & expose their child to it, they left the babies father. & today it is easier for women to be independent unlike in the past when they had to remain in a loveless maybe violent relationship because they had no financial independence. There are many factors for why there are single mothers, not just the negative ones, but of course we like to dismissively judge others without thinking.

My comment was not directed at the mothers. My comment was directed at young males who do not follow through on their responsibilities.
I know quite a few women with children, where the father is not involved in the childs life, and offers no support whether it be financially or emotionally.
I agree that there are many other factors, but that is not what I chose to discuss.:2 cents:

let's see if I can get some good hate comments: It's the culture of the minority community. Just look at the rates of children born out of wedlock and in single parent homes. Minorities rule every catergory.

Check the rates for asians (ie Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis) for numbers of children born out of wedlock

My sister is an example of that. That's why the father is not welcome to come anywhere near them. For the record, she is white and he is hispanic. Just saying. I imply nothing.
