The SAS would ninja passed the bad guys grab the hostage and ninja back passed the bad guys with minimum (if any) casualties to their own side.

The Delta Farce on the other hand they would kick the door in wearing nothing on their top half, and a red head band on, with an M60 in each hand and spray the room with lead. So Farce being the prefered word in describing them.

:dunno: All special groups model their operators on a general template and each organization is defined by their mission types. But it is generally true that Beckwith returned from his exchange duty with SAS and impressed upon the Army to create Delta...and elite force within Army SF.
