Probably a bit out there, but for me, Katie Piper. She's the model that in 2008 was severely disfigured and blinded in one eye when her ex boyfriend got some bloke to throw acid in her face in the street. She had to have reconstructive surgery and try to get her life back to normal. After two years anonymity she made a documentary about her ordeal, and it's made me want to hug her ever since. She now works her ass off helping other people with disabilities and raising money for charity. She's made an amazing recovery now, but I'd hug her nonetheless.

I'd want to express some sincere affection just in case it was enough to reverse her fate.
