I was against anyone who voted FOR the IRAQ war resolution as it tells me something about someone's judgement with so much inside info/intelligence who would vote for that resolution. While I & millions of other less informed citizens knew that the Iraq Resolution was complete BS from the beginning. Hillary was swept up in the GOP patriotism & was looking to run for Prez in '08 & thought the Iraq war would show that she was tough on terrorism & a centrist like her husband Bill. It backfired & Obama crucified her for her support for the War & it cost her the nomination.
I was behind Obama & the perceived 'KRAZY' Kucinich (and his smoking hot wife:bowdown
since day one. Although I would have fully supported Hillary had she won the nomination .Her & Bill now need to go away since Obama has help them pay off most of their debts.
By the way I voted for Obama early on the 24th of last month although my vote will barely matter as Obama doesn't have a chance here in Lousy-ana.

O.k. so I ended up voting for Obama, but I still take offense to Spleen saying it's the right thing to do. It's an election not some peer pressure challenge to take a puff off a joint. I guess I'm stubborn like that.

Funny I realy don't recall saying that voting for Obama was the wrong thing to do. I don't consider a vote being for something that is right or wrong. To do so reduces the power of the vote to some cheap reference to an LTR epic battle squence. Listen this isn't Selron vs. Bilbo Baggins here. The power of the vote is ment to choose whom and what you stand for. I would tell you why I voted for Obama, but I realy don't feel like starting another political argument based on semantics. :thumbsup:

I think we're fucked either way to be honest. We are in the same spot we were last year, neither person is that great. But Obama is a good speaker, and he is confident, and that alone get's my vote. Bush replaced his confidence, with this sheepish grin that made everyone "believe" what he had to offer. Kerry just sucked, too much ketchup. Fuck it. Maybe we should all vote for Nadar. He's at least done something. Who the fuck is Sarah Palin anyway? Geez. McCain has the same hidden tactics Bush had, he's gonna do real well at keeping us right where we are.
I don't think voting is going to matter in the elections to come. I think this is all spiraling downward, and sometime soon, this country won't be what it was. We shall see. Someday...
