If the mods are here to enforce the rules, they should know them! I spent a lot of time uploading pictures for the funny pictures forum only to have them deleted by one of the new mods several times. The rules state, if you use a service to host pictures, then they are exempt from the no hot linking rule, therefore, it should be okay to post pictures! I have pointed this out several times to this person, but he still keeps deleting! So either the rules need to be rewritten or this dude needs to read them! All I get from him is 'this is not a picture forum, read the rules!' The forum is called 'FUNNY PICTURES', but you can't post pictures? That's the dumbest fucking thing I have ever heard!

Good question.I thought "closed acct" was at the request of the member and the two were not interchangable terms.But with so many "closed" ones recently I wonder? Lets hope we get an answer before this gets closed lol.

I am impressed with the 'mods' that this thread is still open and with their contributing to it.
This is not like most chat forums on the 'net; porn or otherwise as this forum supports a for profit website; a business. And businesses have to be run differently then hobbies.
One difference is that businesses are almost never democracies, whereas many web chat forums often are.
Finally, mods are human. So some are/were good. Some not so good. As long as the mods keep that in mind, things should even out in the end.

Once upon a time, i was a mod in another board and couldn't do the job properly. Some posts seemed wrong in my opinions but they had to be there to show other angles of the topics. At the end, i turned down that job and became a regular member again.

I was wondering about that, by calling them Private Messages, you would expect them to be "Private" but im not sure.

I include my VISA number and expiry date in background color with every PM (it's a bizarre family ritual). So naturally I am concerned for there privacy.
Not that I don't trust the mods, but you never know.
I wonder if anyone who I sent a PM to is now re-checking them...lol.

No they can't, I have been a mod on a different board too. I think the webmaster or administrator can read them though!
