The forge is very cool too , it's a bit complicated and a very lenghty process to reshape a map but it can be well worth the work .
Yeah I toyed with it a little the first night I got it. It does seem like could be another fun addition.
Man what a great game.
multiplayer is pretty fun. me and the mates spent a few hours yday trying it out. maps are different which is good and bad at the same time. and what i really dislike is that you cant dual weild the needler. but there are soem new weapons... like THE HAMMER.. beautiful weapon. i was hitting home runs all day... overall id say it is a good game.

The main criticism that I have heard about this game is that the single player is kind of a let down because of how short it is and some of the levels aren't that interesting.I don't know if that's true but that's what I heard.
Yes, the campaign isn't really that interesting. IMO, it's only good because you can play co-op. The last mission is rather underwhelming and the ending is boring.
The strength of Halo 3 is the multiplayer aspect, which is unfortunately not everything it could be. Still, it's a damn fine game, and one of the best FPS games I've played.
For me the highlight of the game is the story, multiplayer has always been my secondary interest in the game. between the books and the game itself it has one of the most entertaining and powerful story lines ive encountered in a game. Im sad to see it end, but a happy of how they ended it.
Yeah...it is pretty short. That does kinda suck. I have yet to play multi player yet.

The campaign only has like 8 or 9 levels. But it takes a long enough time to get through it. Personally I find it quite a nucence to deal with. Even with the 4 player coop.
You think it's easy try legendary by yourself and it'll take you several days or weeks to get through it!

I'm looking forward to the Bungie update that'll hopefully come soon. There's a need for more maps in multiplayer, since it feels like you're always playing the same four or five ones. Also, I'm really hoping for an Infection playlist in matchmaking. I'd really like to play that game variant, but it's too much work trying to set up a custom game.

^^^You can set a game variant and save it just like you do the maps that you modify. I just figured out how to do it yesterday actually. You just hit x to save after you adjust whatever you want, name it something and simply recall it sometime in the future.
I bought the game last week on release date and have completed all three difficulty levels myself, wrapped up legendary last night in fact.

It would just frustrate the fuck out of me to try legendary by myself, so I won't even bother unless I get someone to co-op with me. I ended a coop with 2 levels to go. I died way to much through out the thing as it was, I'd hate to have to constantly go back to a check point.
