i think he means a lack of an end of level boss and a stupid excuess for a driving level in a FPS game which by the looks of it was put together in mintues come on bungie work on you game endings, but instead of complaining about it maybe will should all think of what they could of done better then send it in to them !! and the two ending are just cut scenes at the end of the game, one is for easy normal and heroic, and the other is for finishing it on legendary !! p.s keep watching the credits because there is more after they finish !!

I always thought that was a bonus of Halo, that the trilogy NEVER descends to the level of a cliched end of level boss. This is Halo not Doom.
ok then mate so what happened in the end of Halo 2 there was an end of level boss fight !!
look the point i was try to make is that i expected something a bit more than a rejected cube from "terrorhawks"
I don't think an FPS needs to have a boss fight to have a great ending . In a way I like the fact that there is almost no boss fights in the game ( scarab tanks are kind of like a boss ) because almost all FPS have them and it gets repetitive at some point .
I wouldn't call the kill-the-ape-with-the-big-hammer a Boss fight (H2), but I really liked getting to finally kill that Oracle from the first game.
ok enough of this !! last thing i will say about it, the ending of halo 3 sucks ass big style thats what i think and every one else has there own thoughts was just try to say that it could of and should of been done better so far three halo game and three bad endings !! not to say i not a halo fan just have not really enjoyed the last levels in any of them so far !!
Im already waiting for another poster to tell me what they think would have made the games ending better. Saying "oh it could have been better" then offering nothing to that arguement, I dont want to sound childish but if you think it could be better, lets hear some ideas?

That ending should be good for halo fans since it leaves it open for another halo with a completely new story set in a new time period.

Yeah that last bit was pretty awesome, better than the final drive of Halo2...
I just wish more of the game was like that bit!
