The most epic game in the history of man God of War3 is less than a week away. This a review of the game from ign. It has a few spoilers but not much.

God of War 3 looked awesome. G4TV's X-Play reviewed the game with a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. Sweeeeet...looking forward to its release on March 15.

Yeah I got a demo access code when I pre-ordered it and was very impressed with demo. I've been playing my PS2 copies of God of War and God of War II again to get ready for it next week. I checked my old save files and hadn't realized that I haven't played those two games since I beat them in 2005 and 2007 respectively.

Demo was nice, yet less than impressive for what I was expecting. However I am keeping in mind it was just a demo. I'm sure the finished/polished game will be spectacular! Anything less would be a mistake. Sony finally has their game that will sell consoles! Kinda like Halo 3 did for microsoft.

Actually Halo 1 and 2 did it for Microsoft. I bought an Xbox w/ Halo1 a couple months before Halo2 hit myself.

Just saw Sony's presentation of their new motion control peripheral device for the PS3 at today's GDC covered by AOTS on G4TV. Hey, wouldn't be fantastic if they implement the new motion controller on the God of War 1, 2, & 3. It's been implemented already on the new version of the Little Big Planet. Any thoughts????

I'm sorry Legz, I cant help myself, you know me.....But this is the 3rd time I'm hearing you say this now regarding the demo. When I gave you that demo code you messaged me back your impressions about GoWar3, saying the demo was amazing......:dunno: Now for the 3rd time in a couple months here you're saying its "less impressive"..."could be better" etc

Its ok to be a Playstation and xbox fan at the same time Legz, you dont have to protect your "everything 360" persona on the board here :hatsoff:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no! God of War is just fine the way it is. It does not need any gimmicks added to it. The series has done just fine without little gimmicks and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm not opposed to motion control but don't put it in a game that doesn't need it because it's the cool thing on the block now. This is the final God of War until Sony decides what to do with Kratos or go in another direction entirely. Let God of War go out in style, with the utter annihilation of the Olympic Gods and their blood spilled all over Greece!

the only good thing though Dwarrior, is that if they do decide to motion up GoWar3, they cant do it for months after the game launches....I agree, I think it would tarnish the finale of, one of the best AAA trilogys in gaming.

It was amazing on scale. But as for the graphics I expected more. Shoulda been more specific. I only spent a couple minutes with the demo before I gave back the PS3 to my buddy. I realize it wasn't a polished version of the game. I am trying to downplay it so I'm not so excited for the game, but its catching up with me.

Well I checked Youtube to hear Hercules and it is definitely Kevin Sorbo as the voice of Hercules.:thumbsup:
