Hm, I didn't think about it that way (about the if I stop caring about her part). Well after the anger management sessions hopefully that will change my perspective for good not just for her.

The fact that you are trying to justify your actions by saying that just proves that you don't truly care about her at all. From what you've said in the past few days (once you actually admitted to being a scumbag who abuses women), it clearly shows that you know nothing about love or respect.
Change the outlook because it is what is right. You should be changing and not being so aggressive due to you wanting to be a better person, not because it is what keeps your GF around.
Change for yourself. Also, you can't claim you react when the girl is small and untrained.
You have to want to change yourself so that you're a better person, not so that she wants you back. That's putting up a temporary facade that will come down when you get tired of it.
I have not been abusive to her in about 2 months now. The day she broke up with me was the angriest and saddest day of my life. I wanted to kill her but I did not lay a finger on her.

I've been dumped more then once and dumped women more then once. I never wanted to kill them or they me (that I know of).
You seem honest (which is good) but you have some violence issues you need to deal with; soon.

I'd say that he didn't literally mean he'd kill her, just probably him being very frustrated that he didn't know what to say as the most extreme thing is to kill someone.
Yeah it was just a figure of speech :tongue: I'm just saying that I was pissed off like crazy but I restrained myself. I actually let her go without a fight but thats the one time that I should have put up a fight (not physically). These past few weeks have been hell.
I agree with what a few of the posters have said about you as far as being scum for abusing a woman. HOWEVER I will say that it is commendable that you are acknowledging the problem and seeking help, it will not only make things better for you in this or any relationship you are in, but it could save someones life. I wish more men who inflict abuse sought out help, there would be less horror stories to read about.
Superficially, everything has been great, no fights whatsoever no name-calling etc. and it feels like it was in the beginning. She hasn't been playing the game as much and she is not chatting/cheating with anyone else; I know this because I secretely installed a keylogger on her computer and something similar on her smartphone. I put a lot of thought into it and realized I don't trust her at all now and I want to break things off, she is not the same person in my eyes anymore. My installing the spying software shows how little trust I have. After all my bitching and whining for almost 3 weeks of not having her now I want to end it...i'm retarded.
