My girl of 8 years just broke up with me saying she fell out of love a few months ago.

What pushed it over the edge, she says, was a recent pregnancy scare. She turned out to be not pregnant but told me that she would have had an abortion if she was (since I could not support them on my $500/week salary)...

Weak excuse. She probably found someone else and didn't have the decency to tell you about it.

Don't take her back if or when she comes crawling back.

I put a lot of thought into it and realized I don't trust her at all now and I want to break things off, she is not the same person in my eyes anymore.

Why? Did the black eyes you gave her go away? Just hit her again, she'll be just like you remembered. Make sure to punch her torso a lot, especially around the ribs and the spine. That way, if someone asks what happened, you can tell people she got hit with a baseball.

That is not necessary, the old "she walked into a doorknob" is just as effective. :tongue: She was my own Daisy Buchanan, just with a little physical abuse thrown in, didn't live up to the dream.

It took me a while due to cowardice but I finally "manned up" and broke things off. She did not take it well...I'm depressed again. We actually have not gotten in any fight since getting back together but it just didn't feel the same. It just felt like we were going through the motions.
