Gay...what's right about that? J/K seriously though, I've realized that if a man/woman is gay, they must have been born that way. I really don't think they wake up one morning and decide to be gay, it's a chemical imbalance and it's not their fault. So yea why not give them equal rights? Only difference between them and the rest of the population is their sexual preference. Some would view it as wrong, but I don't see why they shouldn't be treated any different from the rest of us. I'm not gay so don't even think of hittin on me or you'll get knocked the fuck out, other than that I have no problem with em!

well put... gay, straight or bi.... whatever your sexual preference is, that should not affect how you are looked at in society in any way.
gay people should be treated just like everyone else.
Well, um, rapists, child molesters, murders are people too. Should they have equal rights? Not that I'm comparing these people to gays.
But anyway, I'm on the fence over the whole thing. I guess they should have some sort of contractual agreement, like a marriage. But I guess I just worry about the children.
They don't have equal rights. Much of their rights are forfeit when they are convicted. I don't think this topic is about HUMAN rights anyway.

Isn't depression just a state of misery? Everything has a scientifically explainable cause. I don't know what causes homosexuality, but it's not offensive to suggest that it's chemical imbalance (I doubt it is chemical imbalance, because it could be altered with medication, like depression).
You could think of homosexuality as a disorder. It clearly serves no useful purpose and it decreases the likelyhood of the person reproducing, which is bad for survival. Even if it is considered a disorder, it doesn't mean that it makes gays better or worse than someone else.
I don't even understand why you're so upset. It's you who seems to think that having a disorder makes someone a lesser person. If you don't think that way, then you shouldn't have a problem with someone considering the possibility that homosexuality is a disorder of some kind.
You people gotta think about the children. Think of how ugly the offspring of two gay guys would be? But yeah, obviously the offspring from two lesbos would be a thing of beauty. And might I add, it would be fun to watch them women making some babies.

I don't have facts your right, the thing about the imbalance is what I just figured it was. Anyway, thanks for setting me straight...um...yea no pun intended!
