Films that make you cry

terminator 2 - with the thumbs up at the end :( :( :(
gladiator - the end after maximus died

I almost lost it big time during that scene in "To Kill a Mockingbird" when Scout meets Boo Radley. :crying: :weeping: :bawling:

Armageddon made me cry. Almost nothing else, but I guess I'm very patriotic.
Paroxysmia, Thin red line made me cry too, but that's because I spent the cash to go to the premier, and it was the wort movie ever made. I should have saved the money and seen how stella got her groove back.

I'd have to say the old Audrey Hepburn film Roman Holiday was one I cried at the end of, I'm a sucker for Audrey. I also got a little chocked up during The Notebook.

It's good to be the king...
Fluke (I've mentioned this in another thread), the final scenes of The Colour Purple & Apollo 13 (I remember the real events, but I still get misty-eyed when the capsule appears after the lengthy radio blackout).

I know this thread came out of the blue, but it's a slow night and I'm watching Kill Bill vol.1 right now (Una v Go-Go)....

E.T. when I was very young made me cry.
One that always gets me, and I'm not sure why, is the end of "A League of Their Own," a film about the women's professional baseball league.

There's a few films before that have made me cry, however there is only two films that make me cry like a baby.

Firstly Field of Dreams when Burt Lancaster gives up his dream to save Kevin Costner's daughter.

Secondly It's a Wonderful life when James Stewart gets all the money from his friend's.

I really don't like to watch either film with other people around me.

The Joy Luck Club, everytime.

I can hold it together until the end. But then I turn into a little girl and start crying.

None, not doing the macho thing. But I've never cried to a film.
There was a film doing the round when I was a kid that everone said was the one film that makes everyone cry.I watched it with a bunch of mates, all of them in tears apart from me.I got nicknamed the swinging brick after that, because thats what they say I had for a heart after that.I just don't cry at films.

The film in question was The Champ staring John Voight.

Take a Hit, Spunker!
The Green Mile made me ball like a baby. Saving Private Ryan made me ball, only because there was a WW2 veteran in the theater and I talked to him after and when I got to the car I lost it.
