Any of those cars would still kick the shit outta ones made today, well maybe not some of them but they could tear through them like a M1 Abrams going through a mud hut.
As I come from Germany, the whole muscle car concept was a stranger for me for many years.
But General Lee and the Starsky & Hutch cars really blew my mind when I first saw them on TV :thumbsup:

Chevy and Ford always outsold Mopar. That's why I saw Mopars as "exotic": you didn't see as many of them around my area.
But as to which one ruled the roost, a fellow named Richard Petty might offer a different opinion on that. And that's back when NASCAR stock car racing was done with "real" cars. Same with drag racing. The 426 Hemi was one helluva engine package. Drag racing, stock car racing, power boats, etc.
