So do you think the whole Banks/Naomi situation is legit or a work?

I'm not sure - and I guess that's what makes it interesting. The big difference is that WWE posted an official notice on the situation, i.e. that the two weren't happy with creative & booking. They've never done that for things like this.

If it's a work, kudos to WWE for really catering to hardcore fans who read up on the dirtsheets for a story that doesn't even make it on tv.

I think it's a work cause if it was legit, i would assume they be future endeavoured for doing something like that. Vince won't let something like that slide.

I totally see your points - Charlotte and maybe Ronda might be the only one who could pull a move without repercussions.
Definitely not Naomi. At best, Sasha might be on the edge with her connection to Snoop and Star Wars, but even that would be pushing it.
I even thought that they could pull the race card, but since one of the angles was that they would be putting Bianca over, that doesn't fly either.

Unless I'm missing something and everyone is in on the work, the fact that many of the wrestling news sites are taking this as legit is what is throwing me off.

If I'm wrong and this whole thing was a shoot then I completely agree with you that Sasha may get a pass but Naomi is taking a serious risk.

I think Sasha is a kind of work, with a lot of true in it, a bit like CM PUNK when he was free to say what he think.
People where crazy at time, Punk became the most popular wrestler.
It's a bit the same here, I'm sure Sasha is really tired of all these bullshit, and maybe she think to quit but at the end she will stay because of the money.
She won't be payed that much on AEW, and Vince know that.
