I didn't see the PPV. What did you think of JAS vs BCC and also what is your opinion on the title change with Punk going over Adam Page? Also, Adam Cole beat Samoa Joe in the finals of the Owen Hart Cup.

I get through RAW in about an hour and fifteen minutes after fast-forwarding through the commercials, intros, and girl matches/segments. I still occasionally fall asleep with my finger on the ff button and zip all the way to the end by mistake. RAW is like the Jerry Lewis Telethon of wrestling shows except there are more attention-seeking retards on RAW.
I watched the ppv and it was a good show. JAS vs BCC was a great match. Alot of blood which is what i like to see, wasn't happy with JAS winning but i feel the feud will carry on still.
I was expecting either Page or Punk to go full on heel in the match, but neither did. Adam Cole winning the cup, was more than certain that Britt Baker would win the womans version of it.
I found the buy in match, Allen and KOR, and Wardlow vs MJF to be quick squash matches despite wanting more. Was this MJF's final match i dunno, it just felt like he got totally destroyed by Wardlow
Great show, I have absolutely love House of Black vs Death Triangle, the hell of a match!
Serena Deeb vs Thunder Rosa was very great, Serena is such a submission specialist (I never saw that many different submission in one match!)
I'm Very happy Britt Baker defeated Ruby Soho, because Ruby don't deserve it, Statlander should be in her place! Very happy than Athena is finally All Elite!
The brawl between Jericho Appreciation Society vs BlackPool Combat Club and CO was fun to watch, a lot of blood out of Spongebob head lol
Now the negative/disappointing matches because not everything was perfect.
Wardlow vs MJF very disappointing, we only saw powerbombs... oh wait is Wardlow...
The Hardy Brothers especially Jeff didn't look fresh, he get slow in some of his moves...
Cole vs Joe, I expected better for the finally of Owen tournament. to me Dax should be in, instead of Joe.
And finally Punk to defeat Adam Page... Punk tried not once, but twice the buckshot lariat and he miserably fail twice! Yes best in the world...

Did you saw NXT last week? Even the crowd where censored! Malick Blade miss one of his move, the crowd sings "you fucked up", getting censored.
Then late an "holy shit" sing has started we only heard holy........ holy.......

I will watch the scene around the title belt with the main players but a lot of the Nikki ASH and Dana Brooke 24/7 crap gets fast-forwarded. I like Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha but don’t care about many others. Rhonda is a terrible babyface.

Just watched the NXT show. That ref for the Breakker vs Gacy match was a total bonehead. Show was OK. I'm happy the Creeds won. Also glad Wendy Choo did not win.
I like Choo. She worked her way though the indies and paid her dues, plus it's nice to see a gimmick that's never been used.

You like her Sleepyhead gimmick? You may be on your own island there, my friend. There's a lotta gimmicks that haven't been used and for good reason. Disco Inferno was on WCW Creative Team and he was infamous for gimmicks no one ever thought of but also no one ever liked after he pitched the ideas. I thought it was funny when she came out last night and accidentally posed in front of a guy holding a sign saying, "IF WENDY WINS WE RIOT!"
I just think it's refreshing. NXT is gimmick heavy because that's the place you hone your skills on building a character. Spoiled Valley Girl, stoic fighter, skater-girl wannabe... In Choo's case, it's neat to see her gimmick incorporated into her moves and in-ring antics. Not all gimmicks can do that. I don't know if it's main roster-worthy or if it's something that can go on for the long run, but as a debut gimmick I think it's a good chance of pace.
If Choo was really talented, they would incorporate some drunken-fist techniques into her wrestling style (being drunk & sleeps can be similar). Now that would be something.

NXT 2.0 is starting to look like early 1990's WWF with all the goofy gimmicks. Tony D'Angelo and Joe Gacy woulda fit right in. Also, I can't stand that Cora Jade and wish someone would insert that skateboard far up her rectum sideways. I think my favorite NXT guys are Bron Breakker and the Creed Brothers. I will say Mandy Rose has greatly improved and will be a big featured star when she finally returns to the main roster. She not only looks good but is also strong and athletic.
I agree that Cora's gimmick doesn't work. I don't know what your reasons are, but for me, it's that she can't skate. She looks like she's going to fall off by just pushing off. At the very least, if she could skate all the way down the ramp, or pull even a basic trick or 2, that would justify the shtick. But she literally can't skate for more than a couple feet.
I remember the Eva was supposed to have the ballroom dancing gimmick with Fandango, but it was revealed that she had lied about having dance experience; then Summer Rae stepped up since she actually had a dancing background.
It does bug me when a wrestler doesn't try to work their gimmick and it just comes off as a fake, half-assed effort.

I watched an episode of NXT where Cora came down to the ring holding her skateboard while there was a loud "You can't skate!" chant from the crowd.

Yeah, I heard that. There was also that twitter feud with that abuser who call her out on it, and she retorted with the abuse allegations. What gets me is that it doesn't seem like she's making a real effort to learn skating. How long has she had the gimmick now? And have we seen any improvement? After a year, she should be able to skate around the ring.
I'll be catching up in HIAC tonight. I'm still watching In your House.
I think one of the reasons they have Wendy in that gimmick is because her gear can hide that's she's pretty hefty, especially for an Asian:
Aska might be bulkiest Asian we've seen (Unless you're counting Nia's Samoan heritage), and even then she's pretty average.
If they're going to keep Choo's wardrobe, I think it would be good to give her some padding underneath which could allow her to take some harder bumps that would be too dangerous without some protection. That could add to her appeal, sort of like Mankind. There's no other wrestler who could hide padding, so to me it would make sense to take advantage of it.

I think you got one of the better pics of Wendy Choo. When she came out of her pajamas the other night she was as wide as she was tall and soft like a marshmallow. As someone who married into an Asian family I can assure you she eats way too much rice.
