Tammy Sytch AKA Sunny may be going away for good this time.

As easy as it is to say that "the system failed her", there has to be some personal accountability at some point.
Sadly, we all saw this coming. Countless DUIs, Terroristic threats, contempt of court... I literally can't remember all of her charges & convictions. But let me try:

Arrests # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5: In 2012, Sytch was arrested five times in a four-week span, for disorderly conduct, third-degree burglary, and three counts of violating a protective order.

Arrest # 6: She was arrested a sixth time in January 2013, also for violating a protective order. Sytch served 114 days in jail and was released in May 2013.

Arrest # 7, 8, 9: Throughout May and June 2015, Sytch was pulled over and arrested in Pennsylvania three times for DUI. Sytch pled guilty to all three of the main charges with the lesser charges being dropped. During a July 2016 interview with Bill Apter, Sytch said she agreed to plead guilty because she was "blackout drunk" during the arrests and that she did not remember them, stating that it was the worst relapse of her life.

In January 2016, Sytch pled guilty to driving while under suspension. A judge sentenced her to 90 days in jail on August 18, but counted her 97 days in rehab as time served. On September 12, 2016, she was rushed to Palmerton Hospital from her home in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, where alcohol was discovered. This led to a charge for violating the parole stemming from her three Pennsylvania DUI cases from 2015.

Sytch remained in jail on these charges through her arraignment in January 2017. She was fined $1,496.45 for the remaining charges and was released on February 3, 2017.

Arrests # 10 and # 11: While on probation, Sytch was arrested in New Jersey for two DUIs on January 23 and February 2, 2018, and was also charged with fleeing the scene of an accident in relation to the February 2 arrest.

Arrest # 12: After failing to appear in court for either case, she was arrested on February 27, 2018 for two fugitive from justice charges and six counts of contempt of court and was placed in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. While she was being processed it was discovered that she was a fugitive from justice due to her parole from Carbon County Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania having been revoked in August 2017.

Sytch was subsequently extradited to Pennsylvania on March 23 and remained at the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning until she was paroled on October 9, 2018.

A bench warrant was issued for Sytch in Pennsylvania on February 15, 2019, and the Carbon County Probation Department filed a motion to revoke Sytch's October 2018 parole. This was the result of Sytch's failure to continue her payment plan with Pennsylvania to cover the state's legal costs for her case.

Arrest # 13: On February 23, 2019, Sytch was pulled over in Seaside Heights, New Jersey where Seaside Heights police arrested her for driving while intoxicated and other driving offenses. Seaside Heights released Sytch into the custody of the Holmdel Police Department after it was discovered that she still had outstanding warrants in both Holmdel, New Jersey for $1,500 and Knowlton Township, New Jersey for $1,000. She was charged with contempt of court - Disobedience/Resistance of Court Command on both warrants.

On March 20, Sytch was extradited from Monmouth County back to Carbon County Correctional Facility to address her Pennsylvania charges. After over a year in prison, Sytch was released on February 25, 2020.

Arrest # 14: Sytch was arrested on July 13, 2020, for allegedly eluding a police officer, contempt/violation of a domestic violence restraining order, and operating a motor vehicle during a second license suspension. She was held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, and was released on June 9, 2021, due to a court order.

Arrest # 15: On January 13th, 2022... arrested in New Jersey for terroristic threats and illegal weapon possession.

Arrest # 16: On February 26th, 2022... AGAIN in New Jersey, the laundry list of new charges include DUI, driving with suspended or revoked license, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to wear seat belt. driving without a license, failure to possess driver’s license, failure to register, no insurance, failure to install interlock, and 2nd violation of operating on suspended license.

And now we have an actual death. If that tox report is positive, given this history, I think it's clear what's going to happen.

Truly sad, as she was in her prime the hottest woman not just in wrestling, but entertainment in general.

I personally still don't like how women wrestling on television is treated like a separate B-plot instead of I don't know, part of the overall show. Like, when was the last time you saw a woman wrestler confront a male wrestler and vice-versa, or maybe even a rivalry? Maybe it's just me, but I just have a hard time getting behind women's wrestling because my mind would always think of sexual catfights.

Women's wrestling has come a long way. Check out NXT where there's a solid roster and they're given time to put on good matches. AEW & TNA have some good matches too.
I'd say the change happened when they started hiring actual female wrestlers, instead of trying to train swimsuit models.

I'will talk about WWE 'cause I don't know other wrestling federations enough.
For quite some timle, women wrestler were just eye caandy. Many of the female "wrestlers" were just B-list models who went through basic wrestling training. Fortunately, things have changed. Most women on the roster now are real athletes who are there because this is what they wanted to do since childhood, who grew up watching Triple H, John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, etc.

And they are given good air time.
Wrestlemania 28 : 9 matches, 1 women match ; 06'22"
Wrestlemania 38 : 16 matchs, 3 women matchs ; 47'30"

And if you think women wrestling as sexual catfight, here's something that might makes you change your mind :

Does anyone remember the Brawl For All? I was born in '95 so I don't remember or know of it. But I have came across videos about it on YouTube, and I found the whole thing to be real fascinating to say the least. Not that I want to see something like that attempted again, God no, but I was more so interested in the reason and story behind it and the crazy stuff along with it like Bart Gunn's match against Butterbean at Wrestlemania XV. It's some of the stories and crazy stuff like this along with the Heroes of Wrestling pay-per-view, the Plane Ride from Hell, and The Shockmaster that fascinates me about the wrestling business.

Yet you don't think WWE or AEW should dip their toes in intergender wrestling more often, or even give a woman a shot at a man's title like the United States or Intercontinental titles, maybe even the heavyweight title, or even room for male/female confrontations? I personally wanted to see an Asuka vs. Undertaker dream match, you know, before he retired.

Out of curiosity, why the interest in intergender matches?

I've given my opinion on intergender matches. Pro Wrestling may be a work with a predetermined outcome but it is supposed to look like a believable contest. I have no desire to see a gal punch a guy, guy just stand there, then haul back and take the gal's head off with a right cross. I imagine you could go into fairytale land like when Impact Wrestling had Tessa Blanchard beat Brian Cage. That was total BS that never shoulda happened. BTW, Brian Cage's manager in ROH is Tully Blanchard. If Brian turns on Tully will they have Tessa take out Brian a second time? Look ridiculous enough yet?

I don't know, maybe I'm looking for something different aside from the usual same-sex matches, you know? Like, I've watched some of intergender matches in the indie circuit on YouTube and most of them are pretty alright, I've also seen articles online about how female wrestlers like Charlotte Flair, Sonya Deville, and Beth Phoenix wanted a shot at a man's title, plus there had been moments where women had won men's titles before, such as Chyna winning the Intercontinental Title, and Tessa Blanchard winning the Impact Heavyweight Title, before all the negative press with her afterwards, but that still counts, but you get where I'm coming from, right? You know, when I've played No Mercy, one of the things I did was have Trish Stratus run for the Heavyweight Title. Heck, even Wrestling Empire let's you have total freedom over what matches you make, even mixed wrestling.

If you want to watch intergender Asuka matches, get some DVDs of her Pre-WWE days. She's wrestled lots men in Japan.

In fact, one of the best promos I've ever seen her cut is during a feud with Tajiri, where she literally threatens to rip out his balls.

On the opposite, I don't think it would be a good idea.

Seth Rollins is not considered to be a "big man", he's more about speed than about pure strenght. He's 6'1 and 210 lb
Raquel Gonzales is one of the "biggest" woman in the roster now. She's 6'0 and 176 lb
So, with the exception of the ones supposed to be particulary weak, having a male beaten by a female would be quite an humiliation for the male.

Yes it can happen with big women on very specific occasions like when Ronda had Triple H on her shoulder a few years ago but that was Ronda, nomal wrestling rules don't apply to her. Or when Nia Jax attacked R-Truth and join the Men Royal Rumble but 1) R-Truth was perceived as weak an 2) She came #30, when everyone in the ring was already exhausted...

Do you guys know which wrestler's daughter made her debut last week?

That's
Santino Marella's
daughter

Any thoughts on the recent releases?

Dexter Lumis, Malcolm Bivens, Dakota Kai, Harland, Persia Pirotta, Raelyn Divine, Draco Anthony, Vish Kanya, Mila Malani, Blair Baldwin.
LaRae's contract expired as well.

Most of these were actually being used on TV so it's a surprise to see them go. Kai just got back with Raquel (who just got called up). Sad to see Persia go was the IIconics are also taking a break... where are all the hot Aussie ladies going?

Blair was also a surprise - if you don't know, she was usually the blonde ref in most of the women's matches. Don't see why they couldn't have kept her in that role.
