I know for a fact that one of my best friends lies to me a lot (lying about what she does at work, exaggerating her work schedule to make it seem like shes super busy, making up stories about things that happened while she was "out", etc), usually to gain sympathy or a false sense of respect from me...and I'm afraid to call her out on it. :dunno:
