Least we can say we played well (with the exception of the last 5 mins) we can take alot from this game and can still win Euro 2004 providing we dont meet Germany - (as we'll loose on penaltys), France - They have Zidane and the increasingly arogant Henry and Czech republic - as i honestly think they are too strong for us. What happened to Gerrard though, bad passing all night a mistake at the end - he was not on form but so long as we have Lampard, the impressive Ledley King and Rooey/Owen we'll be in with a shout. I think your been a little harsh on Zidane although i did nearly through something at the TV when he scored from a free kick which should not have been a free kick. Down with le frogs, up with the roast beefs lol

Did you see any of the England players complaining to the ref???? NO. I was in a bar with about 500 people in and nobody in there was complaining either, James competely upended him. And how could Henry be offside when Gerrard passed the ball to him.
I guess i'm not a bad loser and i can appreciate good football a little more, that's why i can accept this defeat. We can win our next two games and beat Spain, Portugal or even Greece in the quarters and we have proved we are better than France, so there is no reason why we can't beat them in the final.
