English Premiership Thread 2010/11

Is somewhere outhere.
I think he would rather be back at Celtic and being in Europe every
year, than stuggling and coming through the back door.

Hopefully Ginger Nut Lennon won't last too long :1orglaugh

I hope Wolves finish in the top half this year.Wolves bought some new players but I feel we need some wingers, we only got Kightly and Jarvis.

Ahem...I started this year's World Football thread earlier -- which usually becomes a Premiership thread anyway :thefinger

I think Villa should take a look at hiring US Coach Bob Bradley and he'd be a fantastic hire actually. Randy Lerner (Villa owner) is an American, right?

I can't wait for this weekend :nanner:

Liverpool v Arsenal is not a bad way to kick off the season! How many goals will Arshavin score this weekend?? I got 3 :thefinger Liverpool are his bitches :thefinger ;)

Who do we think gets relegated this year?

Has Arshavin featured much during the pre-season :dunno:

I think Liverpool might edge it on Saturday or even at worst a draw.
With Hodgson as mnager I think he'll tighten Liverpool up,and make
them organised, whilst being able to attack effectively as well.

I wonder if Fabregas will have an eye on Barca this season. We'll
see how good a season he has, with all that speculation surrounding
him.I bet all the talks will start up again when the xmas transfer
window opens.

Should be interesting.I think Man U will win along with Chelsea. As
for Man City at Spurs - I think Spurs might just edge it :)

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
Here's an idea; why don't we pay less attention to football and more to getting our mess of a country on the right track.
Honestly, playing right into the Marxist theory of entertainment much?

^
We, meaning the U.S., can do both, I think. It doesn't make sense to live in a world where there is a weak nation and weak entertainment at the same time.

I don't worry about Cesc causing a problem or giving a poor effort this season. He knows he's going to Barca at some point and for a gazillion dollars. It's not like he's stuck slumming it this year for a 3rd rate squad someplace....

The one to worry about causing chaos for a team is Adebayor. I should think Man City fans should get on his case for wanting to leave them already for his beloved AC Milan or Juve....:thefinger

I don't see Man City factoring into much this season because of chemistry problems...

Go Liverpool
I think this yeard, they could be back in the Big Four + Win the UEFA Cup

Manchester's gonna win the Premier League
Chelse and Arsena will be 2nd and 3rd.

Manshity won''t make it they're gonna end between 5th and 8th

Watchout for Everton, Aston Villa and Tottenham
I heard about a loan on Benarfa, from Marseille to Tottenham. Very bad choice. The guy has some skills, that's for sure. But he's deeply stupid. The kind of guy who's gonna take 4 opponments 1 by 1, not pass the ball and finally will loose the ball to the 5th, wasting a good move.

I preeict that man city do well this season

As a Liverpool and England fan, I have actually been doing that very thing, just lately..

^
England will be saved now that Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott are on the squad

Liverpool? Well, I think there will be a giant cold, gray cloud over Anfield all season long...:thefinger

Don't forget Gibbs as well... Lansbury also was called up for U-21's ;)

Arsenal really does bring up alot of good youngsters. I don't see why they have to steal some of Barcelona's all the damn time. (You too, Liverpool and Man United!!)
