Eliminate a Country

Should there be a set time for updates? No, theres no point really. Countries are eliminated without updates. The votes are counted in order. Once a nation falls to zero, all the votes that follow before the next update regarding that nation, are null and void. The update is really just a chart for the voter to go off of. Its the voters responsibility to know where each country stands when they vote.

Also, the game gets updated about once a page. That adds up to maybe 3 or 4 times a day. There is not a set time when people vote, so the votes aren't counted until they pile up.

That's not the point I was trying to make. The point was that if you vote & the update shows up 10 minutes later, you can vote again, whereas you have to wait an hour before you can vote again when the chart doesn't show up.

However, if you remove the rule that you can vote again after the update, my point is no longer valid (as everyone can then vote only once per hour). My solution was the opposite, give them at set times, so that everyone can vote more than once within that hour.

We would have to remove the once per update rule altogether. It can't be modified, and none of us have schedules flexible enough to update every 6 hours.

If enough people PM me I'll remove the rule and we will vote once per hour. If there is underwhelming support the rule will stand.

I just try to do an update whenever enough post have occurred since that last one. The problem with fixed time updates was the fact more people started posting more often and the encumbrance of that many post makes it harder to do and makes it easier for mistakes if you had to go through 60 post instead of just 25 or so I just did it whenever I saw it go on too long. In any case I never considered this that important to do in an absolute precise way. It is suppose to be for fun after all, and it isn't like all the losing countries will get blown up because of it.

Only one vote per hour or update, whichever occurs first, your own updates excluded. You may not double hurt/heal any countries. If you've already voted you may not vote with an alt. If I catch you any future votes will not be counted.

your reply:

+ (country)
- (country)

the + gains 5
the - loses 10

This will continue until only one country is left.
