I know what you mean, that's been the trend for years.
I always had 5 speed usually hydraulic, but my current car is spring loaded clutch, and a lot more annoying in heavy traffic.

Next one is Automatic. I might move up to a 1985 or 86 year. :jester:

Hey AFA, I think your car would fit in my Dually's, then I'd have a spare to drive around when I get to where I'm going, even pulling my tag trailers. Is that the 06 model or the new 07???? :dunno: Hey, Don't tell BNF, but my Kenworth has 12 slugs tooooo, all Cat !!!! ;)

Well I had this in mind since I first saw one, and remembered the older models in the line. Comes in 6 speed or auto. Still waiting for that Nigerian Lotto check I won via email to take care of the financial end of it. The other email I got about my inheritance from lost Uncle Jed who owned the South African diamond mine and was killed in an accident I think was a hoax? :jester:

Automatic in a luxury full size/ personal car and in a 1/4th mile muscle car.
4 speed heavy duty gearbox like the toploader or the muncie m22 rockcrusher on a msucle car with a 2.73 and 3.08 axle ratio.
Otherwise a 5-6 speed manual.
