You obviously didn't read anything I said, or at least get the message in it.
Whether or not she's leaving the industry has nothing to do with what is before her and what she is following.
And people shouldn't be talking about what may or may not be temporary, whatever break they see it as, etc...
I just have to shake my head.

Crissy leaves adult industry...I'm a bit sad but I think she takes the right decision for her in this moment, I support you Crissy in everythings you do and you'll do; for me you're not Crissy the pornstar, you're simply Crissy, a very special person! I don't really agree with her comments regarding porn and the effect it has on others, but it's completely her choice to do what she has done. If porn just wasn't the right thing for her, then it's best that she leaves it. It's unfortunate that porn has had such a negative effect on her life.

I took the time to read Her Myspace blog entries along with Her thoughts,reasons,and the Wonderful Poem that She wrote.I found it very touching and it reveals an inner Beauty that many people never knew of.I wish Crissy the best of happiness in Her new life.I congratulate Her decision and may GOD Bless Her.I also hope that Her words will help others.I certainly know it has made Me think about things a little differently.

Porn isn't inherently bad. It's easy to abuse though. Addictions can make people do stupid things. However, porn doesn't negatively affect everyone. (if you actually need an example of this, let me know.)

Alot of the time it hurts people is due to the fact that so many people think that it's inherently bad (in other words, the actual damage is caused by society). An example would be a wife leaving her husband because the husband had been looking at porn and she thought it made him a bad person that she didn't want to associate with anymore. If the husband was actually treating his wife badly due to the porn, the exodus would be warranted; but, in this case, this isn't what happened.

Another example is the way alot of "Christians" treat people that like porn. They act like they are morally superior to them and resort to name calling e.g. "sinner." This in fact, is a sin, because the second most important commandment in the Bible is "Love thy neighbor as thyself." Making someone feel like shit is definately not done in a loving spirit.

All that being said, if porn is making Crissy's life difficult, then she has a right to leave it (and she should leave it). I can see why being in the porn industry would make relationships difficult. Good luck Crissy, I hope things start getting better for you.

It's in the new testament, when Jesus was asked what the most important commandments were. The most important commandment was "love God" (not exact words).

Jesus also stated that all of the other commandments stemmed from those two commandments, which makes me wonder how so many Christians can be such self-richeous jerks. It's very depressing to see that so many people don't even know their own religion.

I have only met one pornstar. That was Autumn Austin, I met her a few years ago. At that time she told me she was leaving the bussiness. she said '' I don't fit in this bussiness,,,I don't belong here ". She had a true honesty about her, I could tell she hated what she was doing and the life she was leading, And I was glad for her when she left the bussiness. I feel the same for Chrissy. She has more strength than most people, and I wish her all the best and a blessed life. You made the right choice Chrissy.

Crissy, what you wrote on your Myspace blog took extreme courage and you will be so-oo proud of yourself to carry it all the way through.
Leaving the porn (or soft-porn) industry is not the end of the world. There is so much out there.
I myself, would hit up the club scene and jump on flights to various places through Europe, all through my twenties and early 30's. Eventually, I burned out. During that time, my artist-side suffered.
Now, I have re-invented myself and plunged back into my creative side over the last 7 years and I love it!
You'll do fine, hon.

It's easy to understand how being in an industry doing something that regulary people consider to be something special shared among themselves can be hard when you do it everyday for the public eye. If only it could be kept strictly professional, but it does seem like you hear about many pornstars with troubled lives.

If only it didn't have to be that way.

She certainly isn't more qualified to comment on what effect porn has on me.

As for her views on the porn industry, then sure she's more qualified than I am. She's likely right when it comes to some of the people in the industry, but she can by no means comment on how everyone in the adult industry is affected. Some performers view it differently than her. Which qualified performer is then right? :dunno:

As I said, it's entirely her decision to leave the industry. I just think that some of her comments are bordering on demonizing porn, and I don't agree with that.
