Religion can help her recover from whatever evils she has faced. It sounds like she's having trouble with relationships, and relationships are often a focus of religion (not generally the main focus obviously, but still an important one).

It really doesn't matter if her confession is used to demonize porn. The people who try to demonize it already have fuel for the fire. The people who don't think it's bad will continue to do so. In the end, this decision has the greatest affect on her, and she should do what she thinks is best for herself.

Porn is like Politics and Military Service, if you stay in for more than a few years it will kill you. Look at how many tragic deaths Pornographers, Politicians and Soldiers have. The same could be said for Actors and Musicians. Fame and power are False Idols, and spending your life chasing them, it will have it's consequences.

You have no way of knowing that.

Even if you believe in Hell, there's (atleast) hundreds of different takes on what gets a person into heaven and what Hell is like. In all Christian religions that I've heard of, she can be forgiven. Besides that, the people "she's sending to Hell" would sin even if she didn't ever get into pornography. This means she isn't sending them there, because they're already sinners and going there anyway. "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

Most christian religions look down on pornography. She is trying to be a better christian now. She has done porn and all of her dirty content is still floating around the web.
