Convicted criminal President Donald Trump's Legacy

They came prepared to fight but if Trump had told them to go to the Capitol and protest peacefully with no violence, the riot or attacking and entering the Capitol probably would not have happened.
Trump telling the crowd to go and fight directly incited the riot and attack on the Capitol.

The whole approach to challenging the election and even speaking to the crowd seems incredibly irresponsible for any leader of a county. There seems to be something broken in President Trump in the way he loves to feed off a crowd like that.
I've followed this with some fascination. If this happens in the US, it can happen anywhere.
I haven't actually seen the video or quote where Trump told the crowd directly to riot and attack the Capitol. That is so crazy.

Really in horrible awe of a President that tells his followers to storm the castle. (pardon my poor attempt at humor below)

Oddly enough, I qualified my statement to avoid having to defend charging him with incitement. 😉

Funny post. I can't like, so please accept this as my laugh or "haha".

Is that tweet real or it is a joke? Amusing either way. Sorry for being dense.
The tweet appears to be fake

... but close to reality.

“I shouldn’t joke because you know what? Running against the worst candidate in the history of presidential politics puts pressure on me. Could you imagine if I lose? My whole life, what am I going to do? I’m going to say ‘I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics.’ I’m not going to feel so good. Maybe I’ll have to leave the country? I don’t know.”

It is a commentary of the caliber of leaders there are in the world. The ones worth there salt jump out at you. Meaning no insult, nobody from America is jumping out at me. It certainly isn't all beer and skittles in the leadership department in the UK either.

I had a weird idea which would make for great theater.

Trump announces his republican run for 2024 - soon followed by - the announcement of who will run against him for the democrats - Obama.

Let the insanity commence...

It would also be unconstitutional. Obama is out of terms. I don’t see the 22nd Amendment getting repealed before 2024.

I thought a person could serve again after another had served, but it seems not. Our school system really sucks.

ahhh...Is it the school system, the admin, the teachers, or the student? Maybe a little of all of them.

US Presidents are able to service 2 terms and if they assume the presidency from a sitting president they can serve up to a total of 10 years.

Interesting pair up. Not speaking of ideology and just communication skills, I would think Obama would be the favorite by a fairly large margin.
I'm glad it will not happen because of the shear tonnage of vitriol and stupidity that people would pump out as commentary and opinion.

Be nice if the Dems could run Obama. The Big Guy isn't much more useful these days than using his forehead to strike a match on.

Literally made me laugh.

I saw a .gilf on Twitter the other day of Biden looking lost with Travolta from Pulp Fiction imposed into it looking confused.
I can't find it, but funny.

I imagine if you Google “Biden lost” or “Biden confused” a staggering amount of content must appear so it may be hard to find that Pulp Fiction .gif.

Luxman: I guess humor is subjective. President Biden looking lost next to Travolta looking lost is funny to me. If this mental image crosses some line that is viewed as bad taste or deeply offensive, I intended to neither offend or revolt.

Dino: I think you make a good point of irony. I could join that picture of stumbling around confused and lost with President Biden and Travolta. I tried to find it by searching on Google, but I failed. The joke is on me!

Humor is subjective.
Would Trump looking lost next to Travolta be funny to you?
I wouldn't think it was funny only sad, that's why I wanted you to explain the joke.

Humor is subjective. My previous post standing

"Would President Trump looking lost...?" Yes
Would PM Johnson? Yes
Would Queen Elizabeth II? A qualified yes. This may be what you are getting at. If it was because she was socially awkward or in a socially awkward situation, yes. If it was that she had diminished faculties? No.

It would be reasonable to infer that you are indicating President Biden has reduced faculties. I'm not sure I agree with that. I think he is performing at the level of his age. I certainly do not know and that isn't my assumption.

Since you asked, I'll ask rhetorically. If President Trump was in that situation and it was because of reduced faculties, would you be posting cartoons lampooning him?

It would also be unconstitutional. Obama is out of terms. I don’t see the 22nd Amendment getting repealed before 2024.
If I recall the scenario correctly, Obama can be someone's VP. However, he can't be president if that president passes or is incapacitated. It would be fun to see this ticket though.

What is interesting about Trump running again is the implied admission he lost 2020.
