To me there is no controversy to this. It is simply a fornication of the MJ-12 (no I do not mean formulation) and the right or left wing media. The colored people (pink with blue pinstripes, if you must know) have all been buying up all the canned peas and gasoline in anticipation of this wonderful or tragic happening. If you cannot see right through what "they" are trying to push through into legislation and emergency funding for this you are either blind or perfectly sighted, depending on the phase of the moon and whether the sun is in your eyes. I totally agree with what some people are not saying in this thread and totally disagree with all that is being implied by other people who have not posted in this thread.

My excuse is I was a mere 11 in 68.My older ******* (15) was out campaigning for Eugene McCarthy.I just had to be diifferent then him at that age(yep sticking with that sibling rivalry line) so one weekend at the local county fair when the regular Nixon booth workers had left ,I took over and started handing out literature they had left saying "Nixon is the one!":sing::o.
I remember the *** who came up and said "I'm for Wallace!"

I was as square and dumb about politics as they come in many ways at that age and kinda was all over the place, before Nixon I thought Bobby Kennedy was cool lol. A lot of us still beleived in that propaganda we had seen on Superman (the one with George Reeves) about "truth,justice and the american way".We were the "silent majority" unlike the loud mouth racists on the right and the hippies and **** protesting in the streets and Nixon was gonna save us.Peace with honor etc etc etc.And we were gonna have a future so bright we still had to wear shades.Going to the moon was right around the corner and we had 400HP muscle cars and cheap gas and cadillacs like yachts.Who knew we were gonna find out that lifestyle had a few flaws ( not that we have really come to grips with some of that yet) and downsides or that our pres was a crook lol.
Lots gone down since 68 for me and Nixon, the country and the world.My what a long strange trip its been.
This is getting to be more and more like a Seinfeld episode.

What started out as a civilized discussion of a debatable issue has slid all the way down to someone using "buttsnoids" in a sentence. I am disappointed, appalled and fed up all in one. I am disappupped. Do you understand? Disappupped! For the love of God will you people please just focus on the seriousness of this issue and not your so-called humor.

You all know where I stand on this issue, so please allow me to summarize and, should any of you be brazen or ignorant enough to take exception, have at it but I must warn you that your replies must be very specific and not off on a tangent like most of the idiotic posts that have been made so far.
My take on the subject at hand is:
1) Of course not. Theoretically, the premise is sound but, like so many theories, it is strictly theoretical so, in theory, it works. In a practical application, however, it is practically impractical. Therein lies the heart of the matter. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either uneducated, bigoted (as GSB just alluded to it the case of the OP) or just plain stupid.
2) To argue the point is pointless, since all points point toward my point, which is that there is no point in debating something that is pointless. You get my point?
3) There may be people who feel that, either through their own life experience or, alternatively, through culturally-ingrained mores or folkways, inevitably the situation will occur when, by no fault of their own, a secondary conclusion may be sought. However, as Pauly so deftly explained in his prior post (post #65, here is the link for your reference: http://board.freeones.com/showpost.php?p=3285772&postcount=65), this is irrelevant since, obviously, the Coriolis effect is creating an atmospheric condition where microscopic particles from the ionosphere are constantly bombarding the Earth. These particles, whether positively or negatively charged, can have tremendous influence on the outcome of the subject matter without the person even being aware of it (the phrase in italics is most important as it applies to those of you who may disagree). Remember, these particles spin counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and we should always remember that fact....ALWAYS! As for the Southern Hemisphere....well that is a whole other thread of its own and I wouldn't want to create any more confusion about this issue than there already is by delving into it.
I would think this final point should be obvious to all of us and, indeed, a valuable life-lesson to learn as we all struggle to survive these tumultuous times in which we find ourselves.
