I don't know anything about guns but I suspect some sort of automatic weapon fired into a crowd of people at close range so most shots were likely to have hit someone .He allegedly fired 20-30 rounds and hit "a number of people," including a child then attempted to flee after running out of ammunition and was tackled by one of Giffords' staffers.
Ashamed to be an American and living in a country that tolerates such easy, open access to mass murder devices. "Hey Jimmy Bob, let's head down to the county fair...hee hee there's a gun show today!" This "perp" is a domestic terrorist and I hope the entire force of the justice system will move against him and any organizations he affiliated with.

Pretty sure there was a state representative that was shot and killed after she voted that taxpayers had to fund the new stadium for the D-Backs. I recollect seeing it on Real Sports some years ago.
