In fact, we are dripping water on their foreheads for hours at a time, just so we can save the chance of being labeled horrible.

I mean, we are arresting our own men for doing what they train for, all because they killed a suspect, of which said suspect organized suicide bombings and road bombings, was taken out of the picture. All because this ******* terrorist son of a bitch was unarmed.

Jeez. We might as well just bend over and kiss our asses goodbye. No wonder we aren't getting anywhere. Between arresting our own men, putting terrorists through civilian court, shutting down our POW prison, and shitting on our own selves in the name of sensitivity towards these misunderstood towel heads who would not think twice, or hesitate, in slitting our throats in the name of Allah or videotape our beheadings.

Torture? The only torture I see is having to put up with this fight a sensitive war bullshit of don't kill the enemy, they are just misunderstood when they bomb innocent women and children in public!

Heck, once they were caught, they are living better than when they were in the middle of a battle zone and/or living in caves. If we want to drip some water on their foreheads while asking questions the only thing they should say aside from information is thank you for giving us a place to stay and giving us a shower.

I swear, you completely overlook everything, if not everything 99% of what is there, and completely run in the opposite direction and your only response is a frivolous question that has nothing to do with anything you just had quoted. You are better off just leaving out the quoting and just ask a question to throw people off topic.

~~whimsy~~ for your analogy and comparison to be relevant you have to compare like things in this circumstance.

Unless you think it reasonable to compare government sanctioned actions to that of criminals. That is not done in ANY OTHER circumstance.

When the Iraqi Army had in possession our POWs, by ALL accounts they were treated with dignity, respect, not tortured, etc. So why are you trying to compare what people who are not fighting under a government flag do? There is nothing that governs their behavior. But those who fight under our flag have rules and laws that govern our behavior. It's as simple as that.:dunno:

I'd personally rather see scum like Kristol, Perle and Wolfowitz prosecuted more than heart attack Cheney. I think people underestimate how much power these guys had in getting some 70% plus of the American public to back unjust war. These are the real bloodsuckers, and never once did any one of them strap on a pair of boots and an M4 in the US military.

Actually I think it was Rumsfeld that was the biggest provocoteur. But the aforementioned media hacks realy were the purveyors of war propaganda prior to Iraq II. Hell, you could add even more to that list, but they were the "big three."

yea those aholes you probably should torture but you dont need to torture my cab driver because a friend of his brothers girlfriend said he dislikes america. and besides water torture is nothing compared to the kind of torture that their culture has faced/issued in history. if your gonna torture someone do it right. with that being said i dont think that this country (america) should use torture we pride ourselves on having the best military, with the best technology. torture is kind of like cheating

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm really not concerned with how we treat imprisoned terrorists. As long as it's not happening within the 48 and we're extracting needed information, the methods used aren't any of my business. It's not like they play by the rules, so why should we? If torturing these people prevents another attack like 9/11, I'm perfectly okay with torturing the fuck out of 'em. I just don't need to hear about it....
