After a certain point, you didn't need a membership to Candice's site because all of her stuff ended up being posted some where on the net. If you trolled through enough forums, you could probably get every photo and video that Candice has ever put out on the web.
The only solutions are:
1) Be like Jennifer Lavoie and KT So and be hyper vigilant about site content being posted elsewhere. Jennifer slaps lawsuits on places that have her site content faster than most people can blink. But then forums like this will probably die out.
2) Don't allow any downloads of content from the site. The only way to access and view the content is to go on the site. I have never heard of this type of site ever surviving.
3) Offer the audience more than just photo and video content. Possibly a way to interact with Candice. Cam shows. I think this is the most reasonable solution, but maybe Candice didn't want to go through the hassle of that. She probably just wanted to pose, get her money, and go. Or maybe she would feel uncomfortable with doing that stuff. Not every model who is comfortable in front of the camera is actually comfortable in dealing with strangers.

I don't see how that could be the case when.
1. It has always been that way for Foxes, even in the past. It's not like people willing to pirate their material just suddenly figured it out.
2. There are a lot of sites out there that do better than Foxes now and they have those exact same problems.
If it's effected them it's in the same way it's effected everybody in the industry so I would have to say that their downfall is a lot more than that. In all piracy concerns of things like that it would also have to assume that a gigantic portion of people that pirated their material would have bought it anyhow, and that's always a large and mostly faulty assumption.
Maybe they had a few great years where they just fell ass backwards into some of the hottest women in the whole industry and when they couldn't be replaced it hurt them. To this day I still don't know if whoever scouted talent for them was some kind of hot talent finding savant or one of the luckiest people in the industry's history. Maybe too many people thought the price they had for what they were getting was very poor. Back years ago when they didn't have a sale all the time they were having people pay ten dollars for about 50-70 low to medium resolution pictures. That's close to being a rip off and they only got away with it because of the quality of the people they had. Or maybe they just couldn't adapt and were slow to improve their site or implement new things. For example they didn't have video for a long time. They didn't even have sets in zip format to download. Even when they did get video up they had no resume ability for it so with people like me, when I had a faster than dial-up connection years ago but something that still wasn't very fast, I got tired of getting half way through a video download and having the connection hiccup and have to start all over from the very beginning just to do it again and have the same thing happen. They had no fan interaction. They had no forum. Getting them to communicate with their customers was like pulling teeth. There was the whole Angela Devi incident and how they handled that that still pisses people off to this day. They couldn't keep good relations with the people at Ladies of Seduction. (who themselves have collapsed) I swear some guy there must have been some panty stuffing fetish fanatic because they used it to the point it became a complete turnoff. They were just horrible when it came to promoting their women, especially considering who they had. It was a real disservice to those women considering how much bigger they probably could have still been back then.
In short, while Foxes might have been one of the very best ever when it came to quality of women they had working for them, they were absolutely terrible business wise when it came to running their websites, and it was only because of the former that they were able to overcome the latter for so long. If they only had above average or good women they would have disappeared a long time ago. It was amazing how they could be so good in one aspect and be so bad in another.

Like someone posted earlier, you can find all of Candice's sets on so many forums out there...and her videos. She obviously knows this so she got fed up and quit. If you go to there page for the highest rated women, of the top 15 most were either discovered by Foxes or are most closely identified with Foxes (including Candice). The only exceptions would be Angela Taylor, Ahmo Height, and possibly Dillon McNeil.
Without a doubt, at one point foxes definitely had an eye for new talent. It's a shame at this point, the site just resells other sites' content.

They didn't even have to go that far. They could have been more successful than they were just modeling at other places also.) when they almost certainly had the chance and there was almost certainly people willing to hire them at other places or to give them bigger opportunities. A couple of them wanting to have controlled quiet careers I can see, but with the exceptions of Yurizan, Priya, and to a much lesser extent Jenny Poussin very few of them ever wanting to have an opportunity to be unbelievably huge when they could have been also doesn't seem quite plausible to me. They were already well known at Foxes. If they wanted to maintain some obscurity that didn't work either. There was a reason so many people like them, because the models were outstanding individually.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it was the powers at be at Foxes wanting to maintain a lot of exclusiveness with them. I wonder how many of them really ever knew how much more was out there if they wanted it and how popular they were. It wouldn't surprise me if they were fed a bunch of crap by the Foxes people either playing their company up or making chances at other places seem worse to keep them or were given contracts in the beginning that limited them for a long time when they had little leverage.

What I also liked about Candice other than just the smoking hot looks, the great legs and behind, and the fit body was that she was one of the rare people that seemed to very much enjoy what she was doing and even had fun with it. She could have just been doing a great job acting, but I get the feeling she wasn't. Candice doesn't have a "new" site. The photos you're seeing are marked "Foxes.com", which is where many of her sets came from before she spun off into "candicecardinele.com". Foxes has openly mentioned her retiring in the past, though they seem to have removed those comments more recently.
From what I understand, (and it's been discussed up above), Candice is essentially out of modeling, even non-nude. The owners of her site are occasionally able to bring out "new" releases through creative recycling, and use of sets that were not released when they were first shot.
