Bush III

Voter ID laws are denying the Constitution.

No they aren't.

Cops ask for your ID when you get pulled over.
Banks ask for ID before you can withdraw your own money.
Stores ask for ID when writing a check and or, even if you use a credit card.
To sign up for Welfare, I imagine one has to show proper ID to prove it is the person who wants the welfare check/food stamps.
To fly on a commercial airline you must present ID.

Who does NOT have an ID in todays world? It is simple to get one. Go to any drivers license office and they will take your picture and it looks just like a drivers license. Cost is about 2 dollars.

What a joke. There is nothing keeping a private business from asking for your ID. Just like a record company from keeping an artist from publishing inflammatory lyrics isn't a violation of their 1st Amendment rights.

You hillbillies always claim to be all about the Constitution, but none of you understand the damn thing.

I adhere to The Constitution of the United States.

I am not the least bit interested in running for office, so that argument is as well founded as saying Pele should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Then you need to be quiet.

Pele is 72.

I'm switching to Independant.

If there is a viable third party candidate in 2016.
Then maybe.

The Democrats have to go.

Part 2 Link

Nah, I'm hoping it is Chris Christie.

(Who knows - maybe Hilary will run. Biden is a loser and Hilary has really shown that she is credible.)

Christie might be dead by then. He did everything except get on his knees for Obama. Christie is a RINO.

His best friend.

You may be right. He needs to eat right and exercise. Not good.

I think that is the partisan/unthinking man's point of view. I'm from NY and there isn't that much difference between NY and NJ (although people from NJ and NY would not agree to that). My point of view on this is that he did what a public servant should do - serve his people. He worried and did everything in his power to help the people of NJ. I live on LI and know people who are living with relatives and in motels because there houses are either in the Atlantic Ocean or because their basement have dead fish in it.

I think he is NOT a sell out. He serves he state very well.

Loved him in Paul Blart Mall Cop.

None of hthese things are mentioned in the Constitution. But voting is. And it is written "The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged"

Funny how you read things differently depending on wether it deals with voting or buying guns...
In the US, both voting and buying guns are free.
If ID is required to vote, why not requiring it to buy guns ?

Don't talk about an issue you know little (perhaps nothing) about, especially seeing as this is not your country?

Buying a gun - namely a handgun - is hard as SHIT. Thorough background checks are basically standard. Yes, there are guns floating around out there that any shmoe can buy, but if you are legally to purchase a handgun here you best not have so much as pissed in public. Trust me, I just went through the process.

Other than that, not sure what your point is.

That family is the only kind of bush that I oppose. As for the other kind, I'm really hoping that it makes a comeback! :)

This is why I'm shit-canning my allegiance to the Republican Party. I'm switching to Independant.

This is why --> George Senior, George Junior., John McCain, Mit Romney, and now Jeb? WTF is that all about? Not a single one are conservative enough for me.

Fuck 'um!

Tell me more about this "independant" party.

Seems like Sam is switching between digging in and becoming more hardcore and doubting the existence of God, gravity, and heterosexuality.
