BURN NOTICE Fans? Any spy nerds?

I'm curious to see how this season goes and the actual result of Michael being truly out. Until now the show has had a really nice pace to it, not sure if I'd like to see him constantly running from cops and bad guys.

I'm curious to ultimately see what if any significance is attributed to his father. His father gets more than enough mention throughout the series for him to have no eventual significance in the plot (beyond being the ass busted Michael's eye and left him a nice ass classic car). I could be wrong but it just seems at some point it may be revealed that his father was a "company man" or in some way involved.

hulu used to carry all of the full episodes which is how I caught up from the pilot forward. They have since removed them and only have clips and interviews.

BTW, too bad they don't still use a version of Billy Squier's "Everybody Wants You" for the theme song anymore.

The season premiere was pretty good. Although the part where the barrel of whatever blowing up while Michael was underwater was unbelievable. Mythbusters debunked that particular bit of Hollywood movie magic with one of their 007 specials.

C'mon "styro" you have to know going into an action movie or series that there is bound to be stylized action scenes and special effects.

I can see the cases in which the creators go beyond asking you to suspend a little reality to actually insulting your intelligence. But that wasn't the case here...the mere fact as you suggest that "Myth Busters" had to dispel the claim shows that it isn't wholly unbelievable to the average person.

I mean you don't really think average citizens get to speed all over city streets, crashing and blowing shit up in these high speed movie chases without any police intervention do you? But I have to imagine that writing in a part where police get involved would actually ruin the scene don't you think?:2 cents:

"Question and Answer" (Season 3, Ep. 2)

Watched it a few times already and as with most if not all "Burn Notice" episodes, the more you watch them the better they seem to get.

"Chuck Finley" makes another appearance and Madeline is funny as ever....she doesn't cook enough to even know how to remove hot pans from the oven.:1orglaugh

Sucks BN episodes won't re-air on hulu.com until a full week has passed.

Only reason I watched the show a few times was because of Bruce Campbell. Its a good show, but I don't feel like watching the entire season atm.

I thought this past episode was the best of Season 3 thus far. It was hilarious and felt similar to a past episode.

I must confess I've been very *underwhelmed* with the Det. Paxson storyline. I don't think she's hot, nor do I think she's very competent as a threat to Michael. I wouldn't mind it if they dropped this story and moved on to something else.

USA is running a Burn Notice Marathon this Thursday so if you've been looking to get into the show--Thursday will be your chance (DVR the eps if you can!).

The last episode was the fourth "tits..." but if I've learned anything about the way the show's creators have trended...each episodes has gotten progressively better during each season IMO.

Paxson is worth it because Westen pretty much toys with her and there are plenty of laughable moments so far. I could see Westen at some point costing Paxson her job or something then her going rogue after him.:2 cents:

TR I am right with you on this. I think they tied in the Det just becasue eventually with all these "things" going on in Miami they eventually would turn up.

When I found this show in it's first season I was like hot damn Bruce fuckin Campbell, but the show is AMAZING. USA is doing a LOT of good tv shoes Psych is another great show of theres as well

In my opinion, one of the better shows out there...thanks largely to Mr. Campbell.

Gless indeed does a great job, Jan - and I seriously cannot believe I never realized until tonight she was Cagney. Wow.
Of course, Donovan does a great job as well - and Anwar is hot in so many ways. And if they could figure a way to work Carla into the show permanently...

I though Carla was shot dead by a sniper?
