Best Guitar Solo

Gary Moore. Here he is performing during George Harrison's last concert and on his classic "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" George gives him respect. He is in awe of Gary's playing! (starts at 4:19...)

I always thought George was underrated in his own right.

First thing... if at all possible, connect your computer or device to a quality sound system.

I've seen this clip maybe a half dozen times, and each time I find myself tearing up. I'm like, "what the hell"?
But then, reading through some of the YouTube comments about the song, to my amazement I discover that I'm not alone... other people also had an emotional reaction
to this mesmerizing performance. Guitarist Ulco 🎸Bed absolutely crushes it! The visual of this guy's passion and musicianship (i.e., skill level), combined with the track's
overall sound is undeniably palpable... check it out.

That's a great track! Ive listened to it a few times now...thanks for posting it @wmonbear

I love the playing from both Candy and Ulco! Some amazing musicianship there!

That track reminds me a bit of a track called A'Machair by a band called Iona who are a bit more Celtic themed

A'Machair has an excellent solo, very deep and powerful, almost two-thirds through the track, and is one of my favorites by a lesser-known band...Check it out below...the guitar solo begins at 4:18 :) I love the chord progressions and the guitar melodies all put together...very evocative! 😯

The guitarist is Dave Bainbridge

Even before I discovered the likes of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and everyone like that, I was still fascinated by the guitar and especially guitar solos.

I Love You...I'll Kill You by Enigma was one of the first guitar solos that made me go "Wow!", and this was before I got into proper rock/metal and their wonderful solos

Solo begins at 04:59

If the iconic guitar isn't enough, I just have to add that the Latina accent for this version just makes it that much sweeter.

Had to post this up here as it just appeared on my YouTube 😎

Sophie Lloyd covers Def Leppards Pour Some Sugar On Me:

My Fav Covers Duo doing their take on a classic. Seriously, a Latina accent just makes everything better.

One of the most underrated guitarist out there, the late, great Frank Zappa, playing "Muffin Man". I swear there has to be 64th notes in that solo.
