Best Guitar Solo

Just pick a Hendrix song, any Hendrix song. Star Spangled Banner, Voodoo Child (Slight Return version), All Along the Watchtower, Wild Thing, Red House...

Jimi Hendrix rules on that Star Spangled Banner.

I also like Stevie Ray Vaughn. Clapton is cool.

As far as "old school" goes...yeah, Chuck "the Duckwalk" Berry

There are lots of great solo's out there, being more of a metal guy, and a guitarist, I would say any Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Kreator etc... solo. But if I had to pick one I'd probably go with the solo i want to learn the most(at the moment) and thats Domination by Pantera. And again it's all what im in the mood for.

Mark Knopfler played some pretty mean solos. I tried playing "Lady Writer." I could play Metallica, Gary Moore, stuff like that - I wouldn't even bother with the Yngwie's and Vai's - but sheesh that solo was hard. I never quite mastered it.

I heard Dio's Rainbow in the Dark today. Vivian Campbell just rips it up. I'd say it's his best solo, but not THE BEST EVER.
