Best Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy VII is, in my opinion, the single greatest video game ever created.

One thing I have to say.
Tifa > Aerith
Like seriously, it's not even up for questioning. I've never understood why people like Aerith so much. Oooo, she died. Big deal...

Tifa's :boobies: = :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::banana::hit::rubbel:

I do not know, I've always liked Tifa more, but Aerith is good when getting Clouds better limits. I always have Meteor Rain and Finishing Touch before rescuing Tifa from the Don.

Aerith was nice because of Healing Wind, and that's about it. She was pretty much useless in my mind... :2 cents::dunno:

My go-to party line-up was Cloud, Tifa, and Barret (Back row).

You know, I have truly never understood Vincent's popularity, to me he was an extraordinarily dull character, but so many people seem to love him. Unless it was necessary to complete his side quests, I never used him in my party at all.

I was always way more of a Tifa fan than Aerith, too, but like someone else said, Aerith's limit breaks were excellent in helping the other characters reach their higher levels.

My favoured party was always Cloud, Red XIII (even though his final limit break was balls, I have such a soft spot for that furry little darling) and Yuffie, because her final limit break kicked serious ass. If I was going in for a tough battle and needed some extra power, I'd drop Red for Cid, but as I'm one of those people who spends literally hours upon hours leveling my characters up super early on in the game I found it easy enough to blitz through most fights without needing to cast my beloved Red aside!

It's strange that you didn't like Vincent... in GameSpot's article "The History of Final Fantasy", Vincent was referred to as the Final Fantasy VII character whom female players found to be "the most alluring undead man they've ever met". :D

Yeah, he is such a popular character but I just didn't find him even remotely interesting. He and Cait Sith were the most uninteresting characters in the game, for me.... and at least Cait Sith was occasionally adorably amusing.

I guess maybe I've saved all my tragic undead love for Angel from Buffy, hahaha.

Cid, Vincent and Cloud

For me it was Cloud - Tifa - Vincent (which is probably the most popular party in fucking history I would assume). Tifa's limit break was the boss, I remember training in the area before Sephiroth attempting to master it, and then having it dealing the mortal blow. So awesome.

Tifa won the game for me = #1 fan

:dito: Vincent was lame, Red XIII was ok, Yuffie was fucking horrid. And my personal best is getting my party to level 62 before the end of disc 1. :2 cents::dunno:

knows petras secret: she farted.
vincent was ehh.. i never really played him. i didnt ever feel like leveling him up so much and disassembling my party. it was cool he had a gun but other than that, his limit breaks were just whatever. ive neevr been a big fan of berserk and auto-fighting.

ive always wanted to play that spin-off game featuring vincent though.. dirge of cerberus.

yuffie is a bitch. stealing my fucking materia.

as for as aeris. i love her! i even have her tattooed on my arm.

Cloud, Tifa, and Cid made up my all-star team -- c'mon, seriously, Cid kicks ass, jumps around with his spear and still manages to keep his Marlborough Reds lit. Badass.

I also always wished there was an option to play as the Turks (Elena, Rude and Reno), those guys rock the house. I LMAO during the Wutai chapter when Cloud & Co. meet up with the Turks in the bar and ask if they're gonna fight -- and Reno says, no, they're not on duty. :1orglaugh:D

BTW, is it bad that I still have a crush on Quistis Trepe from FFVIII? I even have her action figure -- case never opened. I'm such a nerd ...
