If they do I'm going to take a very wild out on a limb guess and say kryptonite is involved somehow. ;)

We know how realistic a fight between them would be otherwise.

Batou will use kryptonics batarang's he's the James Bond of superheros! :)

but who's gonna be the bad guy? who's gonna win?
my guess is Clark meet some red kryptonite then turn mad, and Batman try to stop him for saving the world.
maybe he gonna have some help from Robin, Batgirl & Catwoman? (would love to see sexy chicks in it)

***** cast
Halle Berry as Catwoman & Laura Vandervoort as Batgirl and why not Justin Bieber as Robin? :D

Seems like this is gonna be the worst Blockbuster of 2015, even worst than Jurassic World and Terminator Genisys...

Well shows how much you know. It's not coming out until next year.

I remember watching Batman the Animated series as a ***. I think there was a 2 part episode where batman meets superman for the first time. It was amazing and I hope this is a good starting point for a Justice League film!!!

This angle is been into most major superhero storylines. And it is an absolute natural item. When we look what single actual persons can do in this world, be it Bill Gates, Putin, ... The world is subject to their personal decisions and actions.

Now put supernatural powers into that picture. This makes for fantastic stories. Problem is, which audience can you satisfy? One crowd wants that blockbuster mega-action, wotld's shattering, highspeed. The angle about the powerstruggle and the corruption of minds and societies is a different one.

Thus the very different reactions.

I will definitely watch this one.

I do wonder how they will pull it off though. The Dark Knight Returns was a non-canon alternate future where things happened over time that could bring Supes and Batman into conflict. They can't really use that in this film. Batman is supposed to be, if not level headed, one of the smartest and most clever people on the planet, not to mention one of histories best detectives. It's not like it would be hard for him to figure out at all that Superman isn't a bad guy and is about as trustworthy as a person can get even if some people in the general public still have misconceptions about him. I'm going to be irked if they use some lame plot device like red krypotnite affecting him.

I remembered a movie that set up the idea manhood vs. Superman/Batman by another angle:

President Lex Luthor uses the oncoming trajectory of a Kryptonite asteroid to frame Superman for the "pending destruction of the planet" and declares a $1 billion bounty on the heads of the Man of Steel and his partner in crime, Batman. Superheroes and supervillains alike launch a relentless pursuit of Superman and Batman, who must unite to stave off the action-packed onslaught, stop the asteroid, and uncover Luthors devious plot.

Based on the first story arc of the Superman/Batman monthly comic book title by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuiness

We have to take into consideration that "mankind" is not a kind and sane of mind unity. We easily take to the most extreme beliefs, especially if there is the supernatural in question. Now picture some supernatural being or two who actually are witnessed on a constant basis, and who knows their plans and schemes? They wield an absolute power and they have to answer to nobody. That would be like the NSA/CIA/FBI, all in one black suit, and army, air *****, in red white and blue, and zero oversight.

I would be creeped out like hell.

The idea that the general public is wary of them is understandable. The ideal that Batman doesn't totally trust anybody and has contingencies to beat even other superheros if the need comes up is also pretty believable. The idea that Batman wouldn't like Superman or buys into dislike of him just because some members of the public feel that way doesn't make sense, especially when Batman is even much more of a law breaking vigilante.
