From looking at portraits of your female monarchs throughout your history I have to ask why are so many of them ugly?

Look at all women of royalty/political power all over the world and 99% of them will be ugly. That's the rule.

You can't blame us for out Monarchs, they're from all over europe being married in away of alliance between countries etc. I think our current monarch Windsor family are originally from Germany.

Why "Labour" Party parliamenters made state to pay their bills and extra spending? Is it because they have power?

If they did, they won't have for very much longer..........

I suppose the real answer is "because they could"

It was in the rules that they were allowed to, we're all pissed off with those rules and now every MP involved is getting the hell out of politics before they get torn apart.

Its not just Labour MP's who claim allowances, all British Members of Parliament can. The problem is with the main allowance claim:

Cost of staying away from main home
The Additional Costs Allowance (cost of staying away from main home/ACA) is paid to reimburse Members for necessary costs incurred when staying overnight away from their main home for the purpose of performing parliamentary duties. Inner London Members do not receive this allowance.

2007/08 ACA Maximum of £23,083

The fundamental basis of the allowance rules is that no claims should result in a profit for the MP concerned, it has to be a legitimate direct cost. Lots of MP's have broken this rule, by naming other 2nd homes, flipping allowances on 2nd homes, claiming mortgage interest then selling for a profit.

The irony of the situation, is that its the MP's themselves that are attempting to sort this mess out. If anyone else was accused of fraudulent claims for allowances in Britain, the Police would sort it out! Which is why the British public are pretty pissed off with all politicians

Everything seems legal but also unethical. So, laws or ethics are wrong. I think laws should be redesigned in ethical principles.

The reason why i asked that question is the image of UK in my mind. I thought UK is so sensible about the topics like this, especially the politicians.

I began to be so much amazed since i see these kind of stuffs in US and UK.
In 1980s, some Turkish businessmen took so much incentives from government when they showed that they had exported and gained money for Turkish Republic. Of course, most of it was super paperwork and not real. Now, US businessmen try to rob US Goverment.
In 1990s, politicians began to rob Turkish Government in legal frames. Luxury expenditure, paying for fuel in their cars and yatches, even jetcrafts of top government officials who used them for their private stuffs, paying for rents for their extra flats. Now, UK parliamenters do that.

These are major corruptions that can affect public in a blink of an eye. If Government wastes taxes, people stop paying taxes at all or make tax fraud.
