If I wanted rep, I'd post in the members section. That whole forum is like one giant rep circle rep jerk. All post count congratulatory threads are fucking worthless, much like MOTW, POTW, and OOTW
I rep good posts and I neg rep people/posts who/that annoy the fuck out of me... mostly new members, Will, and BMH.

Meh...the rep in those threads are much more respectable to me than the REAL rep circle jerkers. You know, those who rep their 'friends' just for disagreeing with someone. Never mind the fact that the point of their post gets refuted up and down as being without merit, totally baseless or senseless.
the "of the Week" threads are worthwhile and I believe that's reflected by the fact that people participate in them.
I can't and/or won't read every post here...it's nice that on occasion for experienced board members to recommend some of what they think were the top posts of the week. Personally, I've ran across some pretty good posts I otherwise would have missed but for that thread.
Just like the OCSM thread...I have definitely ran across girls who I've found to be very active on the site I otherwise might have never run across through that thread.
Allot of the same girls do get nom'ed but that if exactly how it should be if we're recognizing girls in that thread on merit and not just who we like.
I will certainly have a clearer voting path in the Miss FOs for some of the girls who've been represented in that thread. Maybe others will look at the contributions of girls in that thread and think the same.
