Any UFC fans present?

Thanks feller...it was this past weekend....both love_tha_sweet and lts junior was victorious. He won his match 2 submissions to 0 ,and 4 takedowns to 1. I won by refree stoppage(due to him bleeding from the mouth) with 25 seconds left in the final round. It was a fun and adventourous weekend. I loved seeing my son in a cage kicking butt and taking names later.

That's pretty sic. Congratulations. Maybe we'll be seeing junior shaking hands with Dana White down the road!!

I took kickboxing for a while in highschool and I wish i had stayed involved. Not because I had aspirations to be an MMA star or anything, but it was fun, and an excellent way to get in shape, teach respect and learn self control.

Keep us updated on the youngin!!

Well that was the most anti-climatic fight I've ever seen. They're already saying Kimbo will be back because of an injury to Big Marcus. This kinda reinforces the rumor going around that Kimbo would lose in his first fight, and then be eliminated in the final.

Does anybody else think these fighters look like garbage? McSweeney and Shivers both looked terrible. Nelson and Kimbo was a boring as fuck fight, although I think that was a bad match up for Kimbo, but bad match ups happen. I am very unimpressed with these guys.

Brock Lesnar is licking his chops.

Let's hope they use this time and train their asses off.

Saw that kimbo 'fight'. Wow that was lame. kimbo did get 1 huge punch but when he was on the ground, it was easily over. I love how the ref just stopped it with this disgusted statement "its over". He sounded so pissed that he had to ref that lame display. Kimbo will never make it in the ufc without a ground game...hes finished.

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
I just heard that Rampage is putting his gloves up to go act in a ATeam movie. Rampage as MrT instead of the well awaited Rampage vs Sugar fight. Fuck!

I dunno what to believe Rampage changes his mind quicker than the weather changes. who knows? but I will always back him no matter what.

Well again I am starting to think this UF season is gonna be loaded with controversy, cuz again this episode of the UF had me a little disappointed & upset, speaking of which whats up with Herb Dean? he stopped the Nelson / Kimbo Slice fight in a odd manner? even Dana White said as much, why Dean stopped it cuz of those head taps I have NO idea, Dean should have just stood them up IMO, I mean if nelson can only manage weak punches cuz of Kimbo's ground defense, there's No premise or reason to call a stoppage to a fight? that was totally ridiculous if you ask me. :dunno::rolleyes: I know Herb Dean is one of the better referee's. so what gives?

Dean stopped it cuz Kimbo couldn't/wouldn't fight. He was stuck there til the round ended, and it would be another 5 minutes of over-hyped BS. Of course Kimbo will be back cuz he is the one fighter most people know. Quantity of fans versus quality of fans. It's the Dale Jr. philosophy. We may not win but we have a bunch of people buying our stuff.

Dana may be biting off more than he can chew with this one though. He better be hoping the Carwin - Lesnar fight is a good one or more people will be turning his stuff off.

Yeah I see what your saying, but IMO if nelson can only manage soft taps to the head, Dean should have stood them up, Herb Dean is one of the best refs in the UFC. I just can't see him or any ref calling a stoppage based on neither fighter being able to better there position, Kimbo wasn't taking any punishment, & Nelson couldn't improve his position. :2 cents::confused:

As far as quality of fights, I don't think Dana has any alternatives, who can he match up with some of the these freaks of nature? if nobody can beat Lesnar or silva etc.. whats he supposed to do? :dunno:

They'll lose eventually.

Kimbo should take this go back and train harder. He can only fail so many times. He's so close to being a good fighter. He's got a huge build, but he needs speed and ground control.

Well, being the first season with Dana being upset with the winner it's turning out to be a crappy season. Dana is probably thinking "I guess with have to stay on top seeing as there's no fresh new competition. Those 3 fights were just terrible but I hope we get some guys that will actually fill up the Heavyweight devision with talented fighters.

i like Shane Carwin right now , that guy hits so damn hard its scary , looking forward to see what happens when he meets Brock Lesnar at ufc 106 , and Lyoto Machida is awesome , hes very intelligent and technical with his fighting and its really interesting to watch any fight of his to see how he picks apart the opponent even if sometimes it gets a little boring , the guy takes hardly any damage and frustrates the hell out of every opponent , plus hes unbeaten still and also light heavyweight champ. amazing

And Machida hasn't lost a round. Ridiculous. Shogun can take him though I think.

It was tough to watch last night. At first I thought I was watching a contestant for "The Biggest Loser". I understand these guys are either just getting in or grabbing a last straw, but could any of them go more than one round with Randy? Noguiera? Carwin? Lesnar? Mir?

Evans went from TUF to the title in a short amount of time.

That's the true. These guys look like chumps. When Roy Nelson is your best fighter, you know it's a weak group.

evans didn't look good throughout that season though. He looked like a lazy bum and then picked it up shortly after that. I was very disappointed with Kimbo, but kinda expected it too.
Hopefully he improves quickly, and soon!
