Any UFC fans present?

The UFC was right in hiring Lesnar. he the best thing to happen to UFC in years.

Go St.Pierre. I thought he would lose, but I'm glad he didn't. He might move up to fight Anderson Silva now.

I think that Silva is more than likely the only person in the world that can beat GSP(in the respective weight class,or course) at this point.

One of GSP's strengths is that when he has a rematch after he looses(which was only twice),he totally destroys his opponent(made Serra and Hughes look foolish).I don't think that would happen if he were to fight Silva though.

To use an old boxing adage,Silva might be pound for pound the best fighter in the world, and I would have GSP number 2.

I would like to see Lesnar fight someone like Bob Sapp or Bobby Lashley.I don't think that you would see him throwing those guys around.

Well, it looks like there is a new challenge for the HW to overcome in Lesnar. Will be interesting to see what they come up with to dethrone him.

^^ i understand what you are saying STDiva but after he beat up Mir. he goes over to him and starts taking shit in his face knowing Mir is still dazed that to me is a bitch move. plus he gives the fans the middle finger fuck him someone out there will knock his ass out for being so disrespectful.

Let them try! If someone can get in the cage with Lesnar, go toe to toe with him and knock him out, more power to them - it'd be a good fight.

Lesnar was being Lesnar. He's got a king-sized chip on his shoulder. He's rather an anti-social asshole. He's also a pretty awesome athlete, who showed that he can fight with discipline without losing any of the advantages of his strength and power. He was great last night.

If Dana White complained to Lesnar about anything that Lesnar said after the fight - after laughing about Henderson having given a huge elbow to to the face of a fighter that he had already knocked completely out - then he's a hyprocrite. Don't want fighters to say what's on their mind while they're packed with post-fight adrenaline? Don't do post-fight interviews.

Those were some damn good fights. I cant see how anyone can watch boxing after seeing an mma fight card. I have to give the best fight to Hendo...i seriously thought he killed Bisping.

ditto!
:1orglaugh
I thought they were great fights too! I think the first decision was bullshit! the kid got robbed!

Awesome fights last night! Weird ordering of them though wasn't expecting a gap between GSP and Lesnar. Wish would've gotten to see the Jon Jones fight thought.

Overall, all my picks won Lesnar is a beast. I don't know how anybody is going to beat him outside of a lucky win like that previous Mir fight. At the party I was at everyone was laughing at Brock's post-fight interview, tha shit was hilarious. Very candid, you could tell Dana wasn't going to be happy but it seemed like he was really caught up in the moment and I think it's pretty much instinct fo him to play the hell and taunt his opponents and the crowd.

That Coors Light/Bud Light comment followed by the wife comment..

GSP is incredible. Pulled groin and he still conquers. Jus amazing. I'm not entirely sure what he's supposed to do now... I know people want him to take on Silva, and maybe he will...

I think Akiyama got lucky with that fight. I wasn't surprised at the split decision or his victory, but it definitely wasn't convincing win at all. I want a GIF of the moment when he taunted Belcher to hit him, and Belcher punched him right in the face Anyway I don't think Sexyama is going to be modeling for a bit.

And what to say about Henderson except DAMN.

From what I saw, Akiyama won the first, the second was a close call, and the third a tie, so I'd say the decision was good enough.

I didn't like Henderson's late hit at all, that's not the way to handle a situation and was totally unprofessional, we were only just talking about the danger of UFC on page 11, and it's that kind of stuff which causes problems. He should be disciplined for that behaviour.

^^^Scubamike, that clip just proves how Lesnar really is, it's all an act to hype up the fights and get the crowd going, he was great at that in WWE and still has the knack. Saves the media and marketing crew having to do the job for him. :wave2:

A great boxing match, like one with Manny Pacquiao, is gold - but this was a great PPV - I was engaged from the beginning all through the Lesnar fight - and then they threw in another fight, which was kind of a cool-down fight.

Exactly. Dana White should have expected this type of WWE moments to occur when he brought Brock to UFC. Brock was just trying to play the part of a Heel and he succeeded in getting people all riled up and hate him and now the media can't stop talking about it. White should thank the luck stars that Brock is doing his part to bring more business to the MMA, whether or not flipping the bird to the audience and mocking Mir was unsportsmanlike conduct.

i definitely agree brock is a anti-social asshole so now i see what he was trying to do. but two guys that were already mention could give him a challenge (Bobby Lashley) & (Cain Velasquez)

i agree, i don't like seeing the late hits, but in the heat of the moment, with as much honest dislike and or disdain for each other, I see it kind of hard to hold back. I have also seen guys look like they are done, instantly recover, and come back to win, so its a tough call to make. There is NO WAY he gets disciplined. Anybody see the Rampage/Vanderlai Silva fight? he took 2 or 3 shots after seeing the guy was out cold!

Hendo didnt do anything wrong, knocked him down then hit him one more time, granted both were very hard shots, but that is what they train to do, finish the fight and Pancha is right people have gotten up and won fights where they looked to be out.
